Bali Tour Packages from Hyderabad
No non-stop leaves RGIA for Bali, so the connection you pick decides how your first day looks – private Bali holidays from Hyderabad with the routing, villas, entry paperwork and halal or vegetarian meals planned together.
Most Hyderabad families who ask us about Bali assume there is a direct flight, because Bengaluru has one. As of November 2026 there is none from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. Every Bali trip from Hyderabad involves one change, usually in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, sometimes in Bangkok, or a short domestic hop to Bengaluru to catch the IndiGo non-stop there. That single fact changes the plan: which hub you choose decides whether you land in Denpasar at 10 am or 4 pm, how much sleep you get, and whether your bags are included.
This page sets out those choices honestly. It gives indicative package costs without airfare, a routing table for RGIA with typical arrival times, three itineraries matched to different connections, the Telangana holiday windows for 2026–27 (Sankranti, summer vacation and Dasara), and a frank section on halal, vegetarian and spicy food in a Hindu-majority island where pork is common. Our team in Ahmedabad plans every trip; we have no Hyderabad office, and you plan and book with us on WhatsApp or phone. Each holiday is private, with your own car and English-speaking driver in Bali.

Flights from Hyderabad: as of November 2026, one-stop economy returns from RGIA to Denpasar usually come to about ₹30,000 – 48,000 per person when booked six to eight weeks out. The cheapest fares are on AirAsia or Batik Air through Kuala Lumpur, often with bags sold separately; full-service fares through Singapore sit at the upper end. Sankranti week, the Christmas fortnight and late April typically push returns to ₹45,000 – 65,000.
Entry per person: IDR 500,000 for the visa (about ₹2,700) and IDR 150,000 for the Bali levy (about ₹800). Both appear as separate lines on our quote.
Not in the package price: temple tickets, the jungle swing, the Mount Batur sunrise trek, white-water rafting, Waterbom, spa treatments, beach-club minimum spends, meals not listed, and a tip for your driver. We estimate each so you can budget.
Flights from RGIA to Bali: comparing the connections
All international departures at Hyderabad use the integrated terminal at Shamshabad. These are the practical routings as of November 2026; schedules change each season, so we confirm the exact flights when quoting.
| Connection | Airlines | Typical pattern | Lands in Bali | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Via Singapore | Singapore Airlines; IndiGo or Air India Express to Singapore with a separate onward flight | Late-night departure from RGIA (Singapore Airlines leaves around 11:30 pm), dawn in Changi, morning flight onward | Around midday to early afternoon | Families wanting meals, bags and a smooth transfer; Singapore stopovers |
| Via Kuala Lumpur | Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Batik Air | Night or early-morning departure, connection of 2–6 hours | Afternoon in most cases | Lowest fares; a Malaysia stop |
| Via Bangkok | Thai Airways, IndiGo or Thai AirAsia to Bangkok, then on | Longer layovers on many days | Varies | Combining Bali with a few Thailand nights |
| Via Bengaluru | IndiGo domestic flight, then the IndiGo Bengaluru–Denpasar non-stop | Evening hop to KIA, then the departure just before 1 am | About 10:15 am | Travellers who want the earliest arrival and a single airline |
What each choice means in practice
- The Bengaluru option gives the earliest landing, but only book it as one ticket on one booking reference, so a delay on the Hyderabad–Bengaluru leg is the airline's problem, not yours. The return leaves Bali around 11:15 am and reaches Bengaluru mid-afternoon, so you are home in Hyderabad by evening.
- Through Singapore, Indians connecting airside at Changi without leaving the airport do not usually need a Singapore visa, but a stopover of a night or two does; see our Singapore visa guide.
- Through Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's visa exemption for Indians runs to 31 December 2026 unless extended, so a KL stopover is simple for now; details are in our Malaysia visa guide. Check whether your low-cost ticket includes checked bags; we add them at booking.
- Bali is 2½ hours ahead of Hyderabad. A noon landing feels like 9:30 am, after a night spent partly in a transit lounge.
- Reaching Shamshabad: for an 11:30 pm departure, leave Banjara Hills or Gachibowli by about 7:30 pm and Secunderabad or Kompally a little earlier; the Outer Ring Road is quick at night, but the airport asks for three hours before international flights.
Bali entry paperwork for Indian passports (November 2026)
- Visa: the e-VOA (or the same visa bought at the Denpasar counter) costs IDR 500,000, allows 30 days and can be extended once. We prepare and submit your e-VOA online using your passport scan and photo; approval rests with Indonesian immigration.
- Bali levy: IDR 150,000 per person on the provincial Love Bali portal before you fly, or on arrival. Save the QR code.
- All Indonesia arrival card: free, completed online within three days before landing; it replaced the paper customs and health forms in October 2025.
- Passport: six months of validity and a blank page. Carry the printed return ticket and hotel vouchers we send; immigration sometimes asks.
After a one-stop journey, the e-VOA matters more: with it, you skip the visa payment queue and go straight to the passport desk. Our Bali visa guide for Indians covers extensions, children and the look-alike websites to avoid. Rules change; we recheck them before departure.
Three Bali itineraries matched to Hyderabad connections
Because every trip from Hyderabad loses part of a day each way, we suggest six nights for a first visit. Shorter trips are possible, but four nights after two long travel days feels rushed.

- Day 1: Land around 1 pm; 40 minutes to Jimbaran. Rest, then grilled corn and vegetables or seafood on the beach at sunset.
- Day 2: Uluwatu cliffs: Padang Padang beach in the morning, the temple and Kecak fire dance at sunset.
- Day 3: Drive to Ubud via Tegenungan waterfall; private pool villa among the paddy fields.
- Day 4: Tegalalang terraces early, Tirta Empul water temple, a coffee estate and the swing.
- Day 5: Morning cooking class with a vegetarian or halal menu; afternoon spa; Ubud palace dance at night.
- Day 6: To Seminyak via Tanah Lot sea temple at sunset.
- Day 7: Shopping and lunch, then the afternoon flight to Singapore and the night connection home, reaching RGIA close to midnight.
6 nights – family, via Bengaluru (morning arrival)
- Day 1: Off the night non-stop at about 10:15 am; 20 minutes to Nusa Dua, a resort with a lagoon beach and kids' club. Nap after lunch.
- Day 2: Glass-bottom boat at Tanjung Benoa, gentle water sports for older children, the Garuda Wisnu Kencana park at dusk.
- Day 3: Bali Safari and Marine Park on the way to Ubud.
- Day 4: Monkey Forest, the art market, and a slow afternoon in the villa pool.
- Day 5: Kintamani for the Batur volcano view with a buffet lunch, rice terraces on the way back.
- Day 6: Return south to Kuta for Waterbom.
- Day 7: Fifteen minutes to the airport for the late-morning flight to Bengaluru and the evening hop home.
7 nights – friends, via Kuala Lumpur (afternoon arrival)
- Day 1: Land mid-afternoon; check in at Kuta and walk the beach at sunset.
- Days 2–3: Fast boat to Nusa Penida with one night on the island: Kelingking and Broken Beach one day, Diamond Beach the next morning.
- Days 4–6: Ubud: Mount Batur sunrise trek for the energetic, rafting on the Ayung river, Campuhan ridge walk.
- Day 7: Seminyak beach clubs.
- Day 8: Afternoon flight to Kuala Lumpur and on to Hyderabad overnight.
Every itinerary is private and customised. Extended families travel as a private group on their own dates in a minivan, often in a three- or four-bedroom villa with a shared pool and kitchen.
Telangana holiday windows for a Bali trip (2026–27)
Dates below are from the Telangana state school calendar for 2026–27; CBSE, ICSE and international schools in Hyderabad publish their own, so check your child's circular before we hold seats.
| Window | Dates | Bali at that time | Planning note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Christmas break (missionary schools) | 23 – 27 December 2026 | Wet season and peak prices | Book now; villas near Seminyak fill first |
| Sankranti vacation | 13 – 17 January 2027 | Wet, but Galungan festival on 13 January fills villages with bamboo penjor poles | Many Hyderabad families fly to coastal Andhra that week, so domestic legs via Bengaluru get expensive |
| Ramzan and Eid | Ramzan is expected to begin in early February 2027, with Eid ul-Fitr around 10 March | Rain easing | Note Nyepi on 9 March 2027, when Bali airport closes for 24 hours |
| Summer vacation | About 24 April – 13 June 2027 | Dry season begins | The best family window; book flights by February |
| Dasara and Bathukamma 2027 | Vijayadashami falls on 10 October 2027; holidays are usually the two weeks around it | Dry and warm | Good weather; prices below July–August |
For professionals in HITEC City, Madhapur and the Financial District, a Saturday-night departure via Singapore plus five days of leave gives a six-night Bali trip that ends on the following Sunday.
Month by month: Bali compared with Hyderabad weather
| Month | Bali | Hyderabad at the same time | Price level |
|---|---|---|---|
| January – February | Heaviest rain, warm and humid | Pleasant winter; Sankranti | Low after the first week of January |
| March | Showers easing; Nyepi closes the island for a day | Heat starting | Low to medium |
| April – May | Dry season arrives, landscape still green | 40°C and above | Medium; flights rise in late April |
| June | Dry, comfortable evenings | Monsoon arrives | Medium |
| July – August | Driest and coolest; calmest seas for Nusa Penida | Monsoon; Bonalu festival | Highest except New Year |
| September – October | Dry, warm, fewer crowds | Dasara and Bathukamma | Medium |
| November | Rains begin | Clear and mild | Medium to low |
| December | Wet; Christmas–New Year rush | Cool mornings | Peak from 20 December |
Hyderabad's dry heat and Bali's humidity feel very different: 31°C in Ubud with 80% humidity tires people faster than 38°C at home. We schedule outdoor sightseeing before noon in every month.
Halal, vegetarian and spice: food in Bali for Hyderabadis
Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim-majority country, but Bali itself is mostly Hindu, and roast pork (babi guling) is one of its signature dishes. For Muslim families from Hyderabad, that means halal food is available but has to be chosen deliberately.
Halal food
- Look for the Indonesian halal label (a green logo with the word "halal") at restaurants and packaged food. Javanese warungs and Padang restaurants (Rumah Makan Padang), run largely by Muslim owners from other islands, are the safest everyday choice for nasi goreng, chicken satay and rendang.
- Indian restaurants in Kuta, Legian, Seminyak and Nusa Dua serve biryani and kebabs; some are halal-certified, others are not, so we name the ones we have checked. Do not expect Hyderabadi dum biryani standards.
- Resorts: large hotels in Nusa Dua and Jimbaran prepare halal meals on request; we write it into the booking.
- Prayer: Nusa Dua has the Puja Mandala complex, where a mosque stands beside a church and Hindu and Buddhist temples; Denpasar and Kuta also have mosques for Friday prayers. Your driver can plan the day around prayer times.
Vegetarian and Jain
- Tofu, tempeh, gado-gado and vegetable fried rice are on most menus, and Ubud has dozens of vegetarian cafés. Ask for no terasi (shrimp paste) in sambal and sauces.
- Jain food is limited because onion, garlic and potato are everywhere; a villa with a briefed cook works best, and ready-to-eat packs from home help on touring days.
Spice, and a few practical points
- Andhra and Telangana palates usually find Balinese food mild. Ask for sambal matah (raw shallot, lemongrass and chilli) on the side; it is the closest thing to a pachadi.
- Money: about 185–195 rupiah to the rupee. Use bank ATMs or authorised money changers and avoid street booths with "no commission" signs.
- Dress for temples with shoulders and knees covered; a sarong and sash are usually lent at the gate.
- Bali uses two-pin European plugs; carry an adapter and a power bank for long transit days.

How much does a Bali tour package from Hyderabad cost?
Our Bali packages currently start at ₹10,999 per person for 3 nights. Most of our Bali packages fall between ₹26,999 and ₹55,000 per person. The final cost depends on the travel month, hotel category, number of travellers and whether flights from Hyderabad are added. Open any package below to see exactly what is included, or ask us for a quote with flights.
Is there a direct flight from Hyderabad to Bali?
No. As of November 2026 no airline flies non-stop from RGIA to Denpasar. You change once, usually in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok, or take an IndiGo flight to Bengaluru and join its overnight non-stop to Bali. Total journey time is usually about 9 to 14 hours, depending on the connection.
Which connection is best for a family from Hyderabad?
For most families, Singapore Airlines through Changi: meals and bags are included, the connection is smooth, and you land around midday. If you want the earliest arrival, the IndiGo connection through Bengaluru lands about 10:15 am. Kuala Lumpur is usually the cheapest, but check that checked baggage is included before comparing fares.
How much is a Hyderabad to Bali return flight?
As of November 2026, economy returns are usually about ₹30,000 to 48,000 per person when booked six to eight weeks ahead. Sankranti week, Christmas–New Year and the start of the summer vacation can push fares to roughly ₹45,000 to 65,000. These are typical ranges; we quote live fares for your dates.
Do we need a Singapore or Malaysia visa to connect?
Not for a simple airside connection where you stay inside the airport and continue on a through ticket. If you want to stay a night or two, Singapore needs a visa arranged in advance, while Malaysia is visa-free for Indians until 31 December 2026 unless the exemption is extended. We check this for your dates.
Can we book the Bengaluru non-stop from Hyderabad on one ticket?
Yes, on dates when IndiGo offers the Hyderabad–Bengaluru–Denpasar connection as a single itinerary, which we check when quoting. We recommend it only on a single booking reference, so a delay on the domestic leg is covered by the airline. Two separate tickets save little and leave you exposed if the first flight runs late.
How many nights should we plan for Bali from Hyderabad?
Six nights is our suggestion for a first visit, because one-stop journeys use a good part of the arrival and departure days. Five nights works if you take the Bengaluru connection. Seven or eight nights allows a night on Nusa Penida or a short Singapore stopover without rushing.
Is halal food easy to find in Bali?
It is available but needs care, because Bali is mostly Hindu and pork is common. Look for the green Indonesian halal logo, and eat at Javanese warungs or Padang restaurants, which are mostly Muslim-run. Several Indian restaurants in Kuta and Seminyak are halal-certified, and big resorts prepare halal meals on request.
Are there mosques in Bali for Friday prayers?
Yes. Nusa Dua has the Puja Mandala complex, where a mosque sits beside a church and Hindu and Buddhist temples, and there are mosques in Denpasar and Kuta. Your driver can plan Friday sightseeing around the prayer time so nothing is rushed.
Is Bali good for the Sankranti holidays?
It can be, with the right expectations. Mid-January is Bali's wet season, so expect a heavy shower most afternoons, and plan sightseeing in the mornings. In 2027 Galungan falls on 13 January, so villages are decorated for the festival. Domestic flights out of Hyderabad are busy that week, so book early.
What is the best time for a family trip from Hyderabad?
The Telangana summer vacation, roughly late April to mid-June in 2027, matches the start of Bali's dry season and offers a break from 40°C heat at home. July and August are drier still but more expensive. Book family villas and flights by February for the summer.
How do we plan with you if there is no Hyderabad office?
Everything happens on WhatsApp or phone with our Ahmedabad team. We send a day-wise plan with hotel names and a full quote, you pay online, and you receive tickets, the e-VOA, vouchers and the invoice as PDFs. During the trip our Bali ground partner and a 24x7 WhatsApp line handle any change.
