Tour Packages from Pune

Private, customised holidays for Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad travellers – by PNQ flight, overnight train or a drive through the ghats – planned by our team on WhatsApp and phone.

Pune sits in an unusual spot for holiday planning. Pune International Airport at Lohegaon has a good spread of domestic flights but fewer non-stops than Mumbai, so some trips are best started from Pune and others from Mumbai airport, about three hours away by the expressway. At the same time, Pune is a natural base for road trips: Goa, the Konkan coast, Mahabaleshwar and Kolhapur are a day's drive or less, and the Goa Express and long-distance trains from Pune Junction cover the south and north overnight. Getting this choice right – fly from PNQ, drive to BOM, take the train or send a car – often saves a family more than any hotel discount.

Vibrant Holidays is a travel agency in Ahmedabad, in business since 2015. We have no office in Pune. Our team plans trips for Pune families, IT professionals and students over WhatsApp and phone, sends the itinerary, vouchers and invoice as PDFs, and stays reachable 24×7 while you travel. Every trip is private: your own dates, your own car and driver and hotels you approve before paying. We do not run group tours, so you never share a coach with strangers.

Planning tips for travellers from Pune

Pune airport or Mumbai airport

For Goa, Delhi, Bengaluru, Jaipur and other well-served domestic routes, flying from PNQ is simplest. For international trips and for less common routes, Mumbai often has non-stop flights and lower fares; a private cab from Pune to Mumbai airport takes about 3 to 3½ hours on the expressway, more on Friday evenings. We price both and tell you honestly when the drive to Mumbai is worth it.

Trains and road trips

Pune Junction has overnight trains to Goa (Madgaon), Delhi, Jammu, Ernakulam and Jaipur. For Goa and the Konkan, a private car from Pune with a driver is often the best value for a family of four or more, because the same car handles sightseeing. Our drivers avoid ghat sections at night.

Holidays and long weekends

Pune schools usually close from late April to mid-June, and many have a Diwali break of about two to three weeks. Ganeshotsav keeps most Pune families at home in August–September, which makes the weeks just after it good value for travel. IT companies in Hinjewadi and Kharadi often create long weekends around Republic Day, Holi, Maharashtra Day and Dussehra; book these dates early.

Tour Packages from Pune: FAQs

Do you have an office in Pune?

No. Our office and team are in Ahmedabad, and we plan trips for Pune travellers remotely. You discuss the trip on WhatsApp or phone, receive the itinerary and quote as a PDF, and pay by bank transfer or UPI against a proper invoice. Vouchers and driver details are shared before departure, and we are reachable 24×7 during the trip.

Should I fly from Pune or Mumbai for an international trip?

It depends on the route. Pune has a limited number of international flights, so Mumbai often offers non-stops and lower fares to Thailand, Singapore, Bali and Europe. The 3 to 3½ hour cab ride to Mumbai airport then adds cost and time. We compare both options with real fares for your dates.

Which holidays can I drive to from Pune?

Goa is about 9 to 11 hours by road. The Konkan coast, Mahabaleshwar, Kolhapur and the Ajanta–Ellora caves are a few hours to a day away. We send a private car with an experienced driver from your home in Pune and keep the same vehicle for sightseeing at the destination.

Are flights included in your tour packages from Pune?

Package prices are land-only unless stated, because fares from Pune change daily. We can book flights or trains with the package so that pick-ups and hotel check-ins match your actual times, and one team then handles any airline change together with the ground arrangements.

When should Pune families book a summer vacation trip?

For travel between late April and mid-June, book Kashmir, Himachal and Kerala by February or March, and international trips about eight to ten weeks ahead. Hotels in good locations and reasonable fares from Pune and Mumbai are the first to go during Maharashtra school holidays.

Can you arrange Maharashtrian vegetarian or Jain food on tour?

We arrange pure-veg and Jain meals on request and confirm them in writing with each hotel. Maharashtrian dishes are easy to find in Goa and the Konkan; elsewhere you get North Indian or local vegetarian food, and we tell you honestly where choices are limited, such as Ladakh or some islands.

Do you run group tours from Pune?

No. Every trip we plan is private and customised, with your own dates and your own car and driver. Friends, extended families or office teams from Pune can travel as a private group on their own dates, and we plan hotels, vehicles and pacing around that group.
