Tour Packages from Mumbai
Short flights from CSMIA, Konkan trains to Goa and monsoon-proof holiday ideas – private trips for Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai travellers, planned on WhatsApp and phone.
Mumbai sits at the centre of India's flight map, which makes it one of the best cities to start a holiday from. Goa and Udaipur are about 1¼ hours away by air, Kochi about two, and Srinagar and Leh about three on non-stop flights. Dubai is roughly three hours, the Maldives under three, and Bangkok and Singapore within six. The Konkan Railway runs south from CSMT to Goa, and Lonavala and Mahabaleshwar are an easy drive for a weekend. What makes Mumbai different is the calendar: the monsoon from June to September shapes when you should go where, and Diwali and May vacations push fares up fast.
Vibrant Holidays is a travel agency based in Ahmedabad, planning holidays since 2014. We do not have a Mumbai office. Our travel experts plan your trip on WhatsApp and phone, send the day-wise itinerary, hotel choices and invoice as PDFs, and remain reachable 24×7 while you are away. Every trip is private: your own dates, your own car and driver, hotels you approve first. We do not run group tours.

Planning tips for travellers from Mumbai
Airports and terminals
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 2 at Sahar handles all international flights and much of the domestic schedule; Terminal 1 at Santacruz handles part of the domestic flights. The new Navi Mumbai International Airport now handles some domestic routes too, so always check which airport and terminal your ticket shows. From Thane or Borivali allow 1½ hours to CSMIA at peak times, more in heavy rain.
Railway terminals
Mumbai has several long-distance terminals, and picking the wrong one is a common mistake. CSMT and Dadar serve the Konkan trains to Goa and many trains to the South and East; Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Kurla) serves Kerala and several North and East routes; Mumbai Central and Bandra Terminus serve Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi. We note the exact station on your itinerary.
Planning around the monsoon
From June to September, heavy rain in Mumbai can delay flights and flood the roads to the airport, so we avoid tight connections and keep a buffer on the first day. This is also the right season for the places that are dry when Mumbai is wet: Ladakh, Spiti, Kashmir, Bali, Europe and the Kerala Ayurveda season. Goa and the Western Ghats turn green and quiet, with lower hotel rates.
School holidays and long weekends
Maharashtra schools usually close from early May to mid-June, and many give a Diwali vacation of two to three weeks. Both are peak travel periods from Mumbai, and Diwali fares to Dubai, Thailand, Kashmir and Kerala often double. Ganeshotsav, Independence Day and Christmas also create long weekends; book four to eight weeks ahead for these.
Tour Packages from Mumbai: FAQs
Do you have an office in Mumbai?
No. Vibrant Holidays is based in Ahmedabad, and our team plans trips for Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai travellers remotely. You discuss the plan on WhatsApp or phone, receive the itinerary and quote as a PDF, and pay by bank transfer or UPI against an invoice. Vouchers and driver details are shared before departure, and we are reachable 24×7 during the trip.
Where can I travel from Mumbai during the monsoon?
June to September is the best time for Ladakh, Spiti, Kashmir and Bali, which are dry while Mumbai is wet. Europe, Singapore and Dubai indoor attractions also work. Within Maharashtra and Goa, the monsoon is lovely for nature lovers who accept rain. We avoid early morning flights on heavy-rain days and keep buffers for airport travel.
Which is better from Mumbai to Goa – flight or train?
The flight takes about 1¼ hours, but with airport travel it is close to half a day. The Vande Bharat from CSMT takes about eight hours and runs along the Konkan coast, which many families enjoy, especially in the monsoon. For short trips the flight saves time; for longer trips the train is comfortable and often cheaper.
Are flights included in your tour packages from Mumbai?
Most package prices shown are land-only, because airfares from Mumbai change daily and differ a lot between Diwali and off-peak dates. We can book flights or trains with your package so that pick-ups and hotel check-ins match the actual schedule. If a flight changes, one team handles both the airline and the ground arrangements.
How early should Mumbai travellers book a Diwali holiday?
For Diwali, book three to four months ahead. Fares from Mumbai to Dubai, Thailand, Kashmir, Kerala and Rajasthan rise sharply in the last eight weeks, and well-located hotels fill early. If your dates are flexible, travelling two or three days after Bhai Dooj often brings fares down noticeably while the weather in most destinations stays good.
Can you arrange pure-veg and Jain meals for travellers from Mumbai?
Yes. We request pure-veg or Jain meals from every hotel in advance and confirm them in writing before you pay. Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Dubai are easy. In Ladakh, the Andaman Islands, Vietnam and Bali options are narrower, and we tell you honestly what to expect and which restaurants to rely on.
Do you run group tours from Mumbai?
No. Every trip we plan is private and customised: your own dates, your own car and driver, and hotels you choose. Families, friends or colleagues can travel as a private group on their own dates, and we plan vehicles, rooms and pacing for that group. Local guides can be added for specific sightseeing days.
