For families in Hyderabad, Dubai is often the first trip abroad – and for good reason. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has several non-stop departures to Dubai every day, the flight is shorter than a train ride to Tirupati, and the UAE has one of the largest Telugu-speaking communities outside India. Vegetarian Andhra meals, Udupi tiffin and Hyderabadi-style biryani are all a short taxi ride from most hotels, and every bit of meat served in the country is halal, which matters to many Old City families.

This guide is written for travellers flying out of Shamshabad. It sets out realistic per-person costs for each hotel class, what the RGIA–Dubai flights look like across the day, the UAE e-visa paperwork, three itineraries timed to those flights, a holiday calendar built around Sankranti, Dasara and the Telangana summer break, and a food guide to Karama and Bur Dubai. Your trip is planned by our team in Ahmedabad and booked over WhatsApp or phone – there is no need to visit an office. The packages shown on this page carry live prices.

What a Dubai package from Hyderabad costs in 2026

Dubai packages on our site start at ₹17,500 per person right now, and 24 of them are live. Use the table to judge any quote you receive. Figures are per person with two adults sharing a room, flights excluded. Every band covers the hotel and breakfast, private transfers between DXB and the hotel, the UAE e-visa, a half-day guided city tour, an evening desert camp with dinner, a dinner cruise on a dhow, and standard entry to Burj Khalifa levels 124–125.

Nights and routeStandard: 3-star in Deira, Bur Dubai or KaramaDeluxe: 4-star on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Barsha, Business BayPremium: 5-star at Downtown, Marina or the Palm
3 nights – Dubai highlights only₹27,000 – 33,000₹36,000 – 46,000₹62,000 – 92,000
4 nights – Dubai with an Abu Dhabi day₹32,500 – 40,500₹44,000 – 57,000₹72,000 – 1,08,000
5 nights – adds Global Village or Miracle Garden and a free day₹38,000 – 48,500₹51,500 – 67,000₹87,000 – 1,32,000
6 nights – adds one theme park and Ain Dubai₹45,500 – 57,000₹60,000 – 78,000₹1,02,000 – 1,55,000

Airfare on top of this: a return economy ticket between RGIA and Dubai normally costs ₹18,000 – 28,000 per person when booked a month or more out. Around Sankranti, the Telangana summer holidays, Dasara and the Christmas–New Year week, expect ₹30,000 – 45,000. Low-cost fares often include only 20–30 kg of checked baggage, so we price the right bag allowance for families who plan to shop.

Paid separately in Dubai (per person, rough figures): sunset-slot or level-148 Burj Khalifa upgrades (₹2,500 – 8,000 over the basic ticket); a theme park such as IMG Worlds, Legoland, Motiongate, Aquaventure or Ferrari World (₹7,000 – 9,500 each); Museum of the Future (around ₹3,800); Dubai Frame (around ₹1,200); quad bikes at the camp; meals outside the package; and the hotel's Tourism Dirham fee, charged per room per night at check-out. Hotels also block a refundable deposit on a credit card, so carry one in the lead traveller's name.

Why two quotes for "4 nights Dubai" can differ by ₹15,000: look at three lines – the hotel name and area, whether transfers are private or shared (shared coaches collect from many hotels and can add an hour), and whether the Burj Khalifa ticket is non-prime or prime hour. We show all three on every quotation.

Flights from RGIA and the UAE visa

Non-stop and connecting options

  • RGIA to Dubai International (DXB): Emirates runs multiple daily non-stops, and flydubai, IndiGo and Air India Express also fly the route. Block time is about 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours. Departures are spread through the day, including late-night and pre-dawn flights that land in Dubai early in the morning.
  • RGIA to Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Sharjah (SHJ): Etihad, IndiGo, Air Arabia and Air India Express have operated these routes. Flying into Abu Dhabi and out of Dubai (or the reverse) saves the 1½-hour return drive on the Abu Dhabi day and is worth pricing for 5- and 6-night trips.
  • Time difference: the UAE is 1½ hours behind India. A 4 am departure from Shamshabad lands around 6.30–7 am Dubai time, but hotels release rooms at 2–3 pm; we either pre-book an early check-in or plan the Dubai Frame and a souk walk for that first morning.
  • Getting to RGIA: the airport is 30–40 km from Banjara Hills, Secunderabad or HITEC City, and the PVNR Expressway and ORR are quick at night. Allow 3 hours at the airport for an international flight, more in the Sankranti and May rush.
  • Which day to fly: Tuesday to Thursday departures are usually cheapest; Friday evening and Saturday morning flights fill up with weekend travellers.

UAE tourist visa: documents and timeline

  • What most holidaymakers need: a 30-day single-entry e-visa. Longer and multiple-entry visas exist for visiting relatives working in the Gulf.
  • Send us on WhatsApp: a colour scan of the passport's front and back pages (valid six months beyond your return date), a recent photograph on a white background, and a PAN card copy. We supply the confirmed flight and hotel documents. Occasionally the authority asks for bank statements or a salary slip; we tell you before you pay if your profile is likely to need them.
  • How long it takes: usually 3–5 working days. Apply two to three weeks before departure; for Sankranti and December dates, apply a month ahead. We prepare and submit your application; approval is at the UAE immigration authority's discretion.
  • Visa on arrival: Indians holding a valid US visa or green card, or a residence permit or visa from the UK, EU and some other countries (the list was widened in 2025), may qualify on arrival. The conditions are specific, so let us check your passport before you rely on it.

  • Day 5: Shopping in Karama and Meena Bazaar; evening non-stop home.

Sankranti, Dasara and summer: Hyderabad's Dubai calendar

Most families here can only travel in three windows – and each one lines up with something specific in Dubai.

  • Sankranti (mid-January): schools in Telangana usually close for about a week around Bhogi, Sankranti and Kanuma. This overlaps with the closing weeks of the Dubai Shopping Festival, when malls run their deepest sales, raffles and nightly fireworks, and the weather is at its best (18–25°C). The catch: half of Hyderabad heads home to Andhra villages, and the other half seems to fly to Dubai, so book flights by October.
  • Dasara (late September to mid-October): the school break is usually around 10–13 days. Dubai is still warm (30–36°C) but Global Village reopens in mid-October and outdoor sights are comfortable after 4 pm. Hotel rates are lower than in Sankranti week.
  • Summer holidays (late April to early June): Dubai is hot – 35°C and above – so we plan mornings outdoors, middays in malls and indoor parks, and the desert after sunset. Hotels are 25–40% cheaper than in winter, which makes a 5-star stay affordable.

Food in Dubai for Hyderabad families: veg, Andhra and halal

Food is the question Hyderabad travellers ask us first, and Dubai answers it better than any other foreign city.

  • Karama: the closest thing to Ameerpet in Dubai. Several restaurants serve Andhra meals on a banana leaf with pappu, gongura pickle and rasam, alongside Udupi-style tiffin centres for idli, dosa and pesarattu in the morning. A good dinner stop after the Fountain show, about 15 minutes by taxi.
  • Bur Dubai and Meena Bazaar: dozens of pure-vegetarian South and North Indian restaurants within walking distance of the Hindu temple area. Standard-category hotels here put you on the doorstep.
  • Biryani and kebabs: Hyderabadi biryani houses and Mughlai restaurants are common in Karama, Deira and Al Barsha. Families who eat non-veg will find the meat everywhere is halal, including at the desert camp barbecue.
  • Hotels: 4- and 5-star breakfasts include Indian counters with upma, idli or poha. For strictly vegetarian guests we request a separate veg station or room-service breakfast and confirm it in writing on the voucher.
  • Desert camp and dhow cruise: both have vegetarian dishes (dal, paneer, rice, salads). Vegetarians should take food from the veg counter before the grill items are served.
  • Abu Dhabi: the food court at the BAPS Mandir serves pure-vegetarian meals; the Grand Mosque visitor centre has a café.
  • Where it is harder: Palm Jumeirah and JBR resorts have Indian dishes on the menu but few pure-veg restaurants nearby; plan one dinner in Karama on a Marina stay.

Temples and prayer

Many families want a darshan stop. The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, a hand-carved stone mandir opened in 2024, is on our Abu Dhabi day by default; it is closed on Mondays, needs modest clothing and has security screening. In Dubai, the Hindu temple at Jebel Ali opened the same year. Muslim travellers will find mosques and prayer rooms in every mall and at the airport.

Practical tips before you leave Hyderabad

  • Money: one dirham is roughly ₹23–24. Use a multi-currency forex card for most spending and carry AED 300–500 per family in cash for taxis, abras and souk bargaining. UPI now works at some Dubai shops through NPCI partnerships, but do not depend on it.
  • Medicines: carry prescriptions and a doctor's note in English for any regular medicines; some common painkillers and sleeping tablets are controlled in the UAE.
  • Clothing: light cotton in summer, a sweater for desert nights in December–January, and covered shoulders and knees for the Grand Mosque (women are given an abaya at the entrance) and the mandir.
  • Gold: the Gold Souk sells by weight at the day's rate with a separate making charge – compare it with rates at home the same morning and keep your invoices for the VAT refund counters at the airport. Indian customs duty-free limits for jewellery are strict, so check them before buying.
  • Getting around: the Dubai Metro Red Line connects DXB, Karama, Burjuman, Downtown, Mall of the Emirates and the Marina; buy a Nol card for each traveller.

Dubai tour from Hyderabad: FAQs

How much does a Dubai tour package from Hyderabad cost?

Our Dubai packages currently start at ₹17,500 per person for 2 nights. Most of our Dubai packages fall between ₹35,500 and ₹71,500 per person. The final cost depends on the travel month, hotel category, number of travellers and whether flights from {$from} are added. Open any package below to see exactly what is included, or ask us for a quote with flights.

Is there a direct flight from Hyderabad to Dubai?

Yes. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has several non-stop flights to Dubai International each day, operated by Emirates, flydubai, IndiGo and Air India Express. The flight takes about 3 hours 45 minutes to 4 hours. There are also non-stop options to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, which can be useful for an open-jaw trip.

How much does a 5-day Dubai trip from Hyderabad cost for a couple?

A 4-night trip in a 3-star hotel costs about ₹65,000 – 81,000 for two before flights, and return airfare from Hyderabad adds roughly ₹36,000 – 56,000 for two outside peak dates. In a 4-star hotel the land part rises to ₹88,000 – 1,14,000. Shopping, theme parks and extra meals are on top.

How many days are enough for Dubai from Hyderabad?

Four nights is the right length for a first visit: city tour, Burj Khalifa, desert safari, dhow cruise and Abu Dhabi. Five or six nights suit families who want a theme-park day and a relaxed pace. Three nights works for a long weekend if you take late-night flights both ways from Hyderabad.

What is the best time to go to Dubai from Hyderabad?

November to March is the most comfortable, and Sankranti week in January coincides with the Dubai Shopping Festival. Dasara in October is warm but good value. The Telangana summer holidays in May are hot, so plans focus on indoor parks and evening outings, but hotels are much cheaper then.

Can you arrange the UAE visa for us in Hyderabad?

Yes. You send passport scans, a photograph and a PAN copy on WhatsApp, and we prepare and submit the e-visa application; no office visit is needed. Processing usually takes 3–5 working days. Approval is at the discretion of the UAE immigration authority, so apply two to three weeks before travel.

Is vegetarian and Andhra food available in Dubai?

Yes, easily. Karama and Bur Dubai have Andhra meals restaurants, Udupi tiffin centres and many pure-veg North Indian places. Hotel breakfasts include Indian dishes, and the desert camp and dhow cruise have vegetarian counters. We confirm vegetarian or Jain requirements in writing with hotels and tour operators.

Is halal food easily available in Dubai?

All meat sold and served in the UAE is halal, including at international hotel chains, mall food courts and the desert camp barbecue. Hyderabadi-style biryani and Mughlai restaurants are common in Deira and Karama. Mosques and prayer rooms are available in every mall and at the airport.

Can we visit the BAPS Mandir in Abu Dhabi on a Dubai package?

Yes. Our Abu Dhabi day includes the BAPS Hindu Mandir along with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The mandir is about an hour from Dubai and is closed on Mondays, so we schedule the day accordingly. Modest clothing is required, and a vegetarian food court operates on site.

Which airline is best from Hyderabad to Dubai for families?

Emirates offers the most daily frequencies, more baggage and meals included, which helps families who shop. IndiGo, Air India Express and flydubai are usually cheaper but charge for extra baggage and seats. We compare the total cost, including bags and seat selection, before booking.

Is Dubai safe for senior citizens and small children?

Yes. Dubai is clean and safe, with wheelchairs at the airport, lifts and ramps in malls and attractions, and a well-run metro. For seniors we choose hotels near the metro or Indian restaurants, keep one main outing per day, and book a gentler desert camp instead of dune bashing.

How early should we book a Dubai trip for Sankranti?

Book by October for mid-January travel. Flights fill up early around Sankranti, and the Dubai Shopping Festival keeps hotels busy. For Dasara and the May holidays, six to eight weeks ahead is usually enough, while other months need three to four weeks.
