Singapore Tour Packages from Hyderabad
A late-morning or late-night non-stop from Shamshabad, about four and a half hours to Changi, and a city where halal food and Andhra-style meals are both a short walk away – private Singapore holidays for Hyderabad families.
For Hyderabad, Singapore is one of the easiest foreign holidays there is. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad has non-stop flights to Changi on Singapore Airlines and IndiGo, about four and a half hours in the air, with a choice between a late-morning departure that lands in the evening and late-night flights that land at dawn. Many Telugu families also have a brother, cousin or grown-up child working in Singapore, and for Muslim families from the Old City, Tolichowki or Mehdipatnam the city has one of the best-organised halal food systems in Asia, with certified restaurants and a mosque in the middle of the old Malay quarter.
This page is written for travellers from Hyderabad, Secunderabad and the rest of Telangana. It covers indicative package costs without airfare, what the day and night flights from RGIA mean for your first day, the e-visa as of November 2026, three itineraries – a slow five nights with grandparents, a short couples' trip and Singapore with a cruise – the Sankranti, summer and Dasara windows against Singapore's weather, and food for halal, Telugu vegetarian and Jain travellers. Planning is done by our team in Ahmedabad over WhatsApp and phone; we have no Hyderabad office. Every trip is private, with your own transfers and your own dates.

Return airfare from Hyderabad: as of November 2026, IndiGo returns usually cost about ₹18,000 – 32,000 per person when booked six to eight weeks ahead, and Singapore Airlines about ₹28,000 – 45,000 with meals and checked bags included. Sankranti week, the summer holidays, the Dasara break and Christmas–New Year can add 40–60%. Compare after adding baggage to the IndiGo fare.
Not in the price: most lunches and dinners (SGD 8–15 per person at hawker centres and halal food courts), the Universal Studios Express Pass, Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, Singapore Flyer, Skyline Luge, MRT and Grab rides on free days, shopping, and the hotel's card deposit. Each is estimated on your quote.
RGIA to Changi: day flight or night flight?
Singapore is 2½ hours ahead of Hyderabad. The pattern below is from schedule data as of late October 2026; timings shift by a few minutes between seasons, and we check the live timetable for your dates.
| Flight | Leaves Hyderabad | Lands in Singapore | What your first day looks like |
|---|---|---|---|
| Singapore Airlines, day flight | Around 11 am | Around 6.30–7 pm | Check in by 8 pm, dinner, early night. No lost sleep – the best choice with grandparents or small children |
| IndiGo, late evening | Around 9.30 pm | Around 5 am | A very early landing; book the room from the previous night or plan a slow morning at Jewel Changi |
| Singapore Airlines, late night | Around 11 pm | Around 6.15 am | A full first day if you can sleep on planes; we request early check-in |
- Coming back: most flights from Changi to Hyderabad leave in the evening and land at RGIA late at night or after midnight. Keep your hotel room until the afternoon or spend the last hours at Jewel, and book the cab home in advance.
- Getting to Shamshabad: the airport is about 30 km south of the city centre. Allow about 45 minutes from Gachibowli or HITEC City via the Outer Ring Road, 45–60 minutes from Mehdipatnam or the Old City via the PVNR Expressway, and 60–90 minutes from Secunderabad, Kompally or Uppal. TGSRTC's Pushpak AC buses run to the airport from several parts of the city; there is no metro to RGIA. Reach the terminal three hours before an international departure.
- Full service or low-cost: Singapore Airlines includes meals and a generous checked-baggage allowance in economy; IndiGo's international fares include a checked bag but meals are paid. For a family's return leg with shopping, the baggage difference matters.
- From elsewhere in Telangana: families from Warangal, Karimnagar or Nizamabad usually drive to RGIA. On the day flight that means leaving home before dawn; on the night flights it means a long day before boarding, so we suggest the late-evening departure only if the drive is short.
Singapore e-visa for Hyderabad travellers (as of November 2026)
Indian passport holders need a Singapore visa approved before travel. There is no Singapore mission in Hyderabad, and none is needed: the High Commission and consulates do not accept walk-in applications, and every tourist visa is filed online by an Authorised Visa Agent, with the visa issued electronically.
- Cost: a visa fee of ₹2,100 per person, in force from 1 January 2026, plus the agent's service charge of ₹1,300. The fee is not refunded if the application is refused.
- When to apply: the mission asks that applications be made within 30 days before arrival in Singapore. Processing normally takes three to five working days, not counting the day of submission, weekends and holidays.
- Papers: Form 14A, a recent colour photo taken within the last three months, the passport biodata page (valid at least six months from entry), and anything further the officer requests, such as bank statements or proof of employment. Documents in Telugu or Hindi need an English translation.
- Visiting family: if you are staying with a relative who is a Singapore citizen or permanent resident, the mission may ask for a letter of introduction on Form V39A from them. Ask them to keep it ready; it often makes the file stronger.
- SG Arrival Card: free on the ICA website or MyICA app, submitted within three days before arrival. Paid look-alike sites are not needed. Your electronic visit pass is emailed to you after immigration, so give an address you check.
We prepare the file and submit it through an authorised agent; approval is always Singapore's decision, and we never promise an outcome. Tickets are issued once the e-visa arrives. The full process, including the 96-hour transit facility, is in our Singapore visa guide for Indians.

- Day 4: Sentosa by cable car, S.E.A. Aquarium at walking pace, Wings of Time show. Children and parents can add Universal Studios on this or the next day while grandparents rest.
- Day 5: Short city tour – Merlion Park, Chinatown, the Sri Mariamman Temple and Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple on Serangoon Road; Singapore River boat ride at dusk.

7 nights / 8 days – Singapore with a three-night cruise
- Days 1–4 – Singapore: city, Gardens, Sentosa and Universal Studios at a family pace.
- Days 5–7 – cruise: board at Marina Bay Cruise Centre for a round trip to Penang or Port Klang for Kuala Lumpur, or a sea-day sailing. Ships offer Indian and vegetarian dining; halal options vary by line, and we ask before booking.
- Day 8: Disembark early morning, a last half-day in the city, evening flight to Hyderabad.
Cruise itineraries and lines change by season. Re-entering Singapore needs a multiple-entry visa, which the e-visa usually is; Malaysia's visa-free entry for Indians runs to 31 December 2026, and for 2027 sailings we check the rule before booking. Every trip is private: extended Hyderabad families travel together as a private group on their own dates, with a coach and driver for sightseeing days.
Sankranti, summer, Dasara and Ramadan: Singapore through the Telangana year
Telangana's school calendar sets when most Hyderabad families can travel, and the dates below are approximate for 2026–27 – CBSE, ICSE and IB schools publish their own, so check your circular before we hold seats.
| Month | Singapore weather | Hyderabad calendar | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| December | Rainy spells; Christmas lights on Orchard Road | Christmas week | Highest prices around New Year; book now |
| January | Showers easing, 24–31°C | Sankranti holidays, roughly the second week of January | Popular with families; fares rise for Sankranti week |
| February | Among the driest months; Chinese New Year falls on 6 February 2027 | Ramadan begins around the second week | Best weather; Chinatown decorated |
| March | Dry and hot | Eid al-Fitr around 10 March 2027; Ugadi later in the spring | Hari Raya lights and the bazaar at Geylang Serai |
| April | Hot, afternoon storms | Summer holidays start in late April | Good value before mid-May |
| May | Hot and humid, 25–32°C | Hyderabad at 40–44°C | Peak family month; book by February |
| June | Humid; Singapore's own school holidays | Schools reopen around mid-June; Formation Day on 2 June | Crowds at Universal Studios |
| July – August | Warm; National Day on 9 August | Bonalu season | Quieter, fair prices |
| September | Warm; Formula 1 weekend raises Marina Bay hotel prices | Dasara and Bathukamma holidays begin late in the month | Book early for the break |
| October | Afternoon showers; Deepavali light-up in Little India | Dasara break continues into early October | Little India at its liveliest |
| November | Wettest period begins | Exam season | Lowest prices; indoor sights are unaffected |
- Heat is relative: Singapore in May is not hotter than Hyderabad, but the humidity is high. We plan outdoor sights for the mornings and evenings and keep afternoons for air-conditioned museums, malls and the aquarium – important for seniors.
- Ramadan travel: Singapore's Kampong Glam and Geylang Serai hold evening bazaars through the month, and halal restaurants serve iftar. Families who are fasting usually prefer the evening-heavy couples' plan above.
- IT and pharma leave: a Friday-night IndiGo departure and two days of leave around Republic Day (a Tuesday in 2027) or Good Friday gives three or four nights.
Halal, Telugu vegetarian and Jain food in Singapore
Halal
- Certification you can check: Singapore's Islamic council, MUIS, certifies halal restaurants and food courts, and the certificate is displayed at the counter. "Muslim-owned" and "no pork, no lard" signs are common too, but are not the same as certified.
- Where to eat: Kampong Glam around the Sultan Mosque and Arab Street, the Indian-Muslim restaurants of Little India and Tekka Centre, and Geylang Serai's Malay market. Murtabak, nasi padang, mutton soup and roti prata are the dishes Hyderabadi visitors take to fastest.
- About biryani: Singapore's nasi briyani, served with dalcha and pickles, is milder and drier than Hyderabadi dum biryani. A few Dunlop Street shops get closer; set your expectations and enjoy it as its own dish.
- Prayer: Sultan Mosque, Masjid Abdul Gafoor in Little India and the Masjid Jamae in Chinatown are in central areas; malls and Changi have prayer rooms.
- Sentosa and theme parks: a handful of halal-certified outlets exist, but choice is limited – plan a big dinner back in town.
Telugu vegetarian and Jain
- Andhra-style meals: Little India has restaurants serving rice meals with pappu, rasam, curd and pickles, alongside Tamil banana-leaf places. The spice level is lower than at home; ask for extra chilli or carry a small pack of podi.
- Jain and no onion-garlic: possible at several Little India restaurants on request. Marwari and Gujarati families from Begum Bazaar or Secunderabad find Jain cooking easier in Singapore than in most Southeast Asian cities.
- Hawker centres: look for Indian or "vegetarian" signs; many Chinese stalls cook with pork or lard.
- From home: packaged sweets, podi and pickles are fine in sealed packs; declare food if asked on arrival.
Practical notes
- Money: one Singapore dollar is roughly ₹65–70. Cards and contactless payment work almost everywhere, including MRT gates.
- Rules: fines for littering, eating on the MRT and smoking outside marked areas are enforced; e-cigarettes are illegal and chewing gum is not sold.
- Shopping: Mustafa Centre in Little India for chocolates, electronics and luggage; claim the tourist GST refund at Changi on qualifying purchases above SGD 100.

How much does a Singapore tour package from Hyderabad cost?
Our Singapore packages currently start at ₹28,000 per person for 3 nights. Most of our Singapore packages fall between ₹45,500 and ₹79,000 per person. The final cost depends on the travel month, hotel category, number of travellers and whether flights from Hyderabad are added. Open any package below to see exactly what is included, or ask us for a quote with flights.
Is there a direct flight from Hyderabad to Singapore?
Yes. As of November 2026 Singapore Airlines and IndiGo fly non-stop from RGIA to Changi, about four and a half hours in the air. Singapore Airlines has a late-morning and a late-night departure, and IndiGo a late-evening one, so there are usually one to two flights a day. We confirm timings for your dates.
Which flight is best from Hyderabad: day or night?
With grandparents or small children, the Singapore Airlines day flight is kindest: you leave around 11 am, land in the evening and sleep normally. Couples often prefer a night flight, landing around dawn and using the whole first day. If you take a night flight, book the room from the previous night or ask us for early check-in.
How early should I leave for RGIA for a Singapore flight?
Aim to reach the terminal three hours before departure. From HITEC City or Gachibowli the drive is about 45 minutes via the Outer Ring Road; from Secunderabad, Kompally or Uppal allow 60 to 90 minutes. There is no metro to the airport, but TGSRTC Pushpak buses run from several parts of the city.
How much is a Hyderabad to Singapore return flight?
As of November 2026, IndiGo usually costs about ₹18,000 to ₹32,000 return when booked six to eight weeks ahead, and Singapore Airlines about ₹28,000 to ₹45,000 with meals and bags. Sankranti, summer, Dasara and Christmas weeks cost 40 to 60 percent more. These are typical ranges; we quote live fares.
Can I apply for a Singapore visa in Hyderabad myself?
No. There is no Singapore mission in Hyderabad, and even where there is one, tourist applications go only through Authorised Visa Agents. The fee is ₹2,100 plus a ₹1,300 service charge as of November 2026, and applications should be made within 30 days before arrival. We prepare and submit the file; approval is Singapore's decision.
Is halal food easy to find in Singapore?
Very easy. MUIS-certified restaurants and food courts are found across the city, with the certificate shown at the counter. Kampong Glam, Little India, Tekka Centre and Geylang Serai have the most choice. Singapore's nasi briyani is milder than Hyderabadi dum biryani, and halal choice is thinner on Sentosa and in theme parks.
Is Singapore a good trip for the Telangana summer holidays?
Yes, though it is humid rather than cooler. May temperatures are 25 to 32°C against Hyderabad's 40-plus, and almost every major sight is indoors or shaded. It is the busiest season, and Singapore's own school holidays from late May add crowds, so book flights and hotels by February.
Can we visit Singapore during Sankranti or Dasara?
Both work well. Sankranti in mid-January brings easing showers and Chinese New Year preparations. The Dasara break, from late September into early October, overlaps the Formula 1 weekend and the Deepavali light-up in Little India. Fares rise for both, so book eight to ten weeks ahead.
Is Singapore suitable for elderly parents from Hyderabad?
It is one of the easiest foreign cities for seniors: clean, safe, flat and air-conditioned, with lifts and ramps everywhere. We use the day flight, a hotel near an MRT station and Indian restaurants, private transfers on sightseeing days and one major outing a day, with afternoons free to rest.
Can we add a cruise to a Singapore trip from Hyderabad?
Yes. A three- or four-night round-trip cruise from Marina Bay Cruise Centre to Penang or Port Klang is a popular add-on after four nights in the city. You need a multiple-entry Singapore visa to come back. Lines and sailings change by season, so we check what operates on your dates.
Do you have an office in Hyderabad?
No. Vibrant Holidays is based on C G Road, Ahmedabad, and has planned holidays for 11 years. Hyderabad clients plan with us on WhatsApp or phone, pay online and receive the e-visa, tickets, vouchers and invoice as PDFs. During the trip, a 24x7 WhatsApp line and our Singapore ground partner handle changes.
