Overview

Chikmagalur is a hill station in Karnataka, a state in southwest India. To the north is Baba Budangiri, a mountain range in the Western Ghats, with 3 large caves said to be holy. Trails through forests and grasslands lead up to Mullayanagiri Peak. The cascading Hebbe Falls lie in an area of coffee plantations. The forested Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, northwest of Chikmagalur, is home to elephants, tigers and leopards.

On first day of Chikmagalur Weekend Tour Package, our representative will welcome you at Bengaluru Airport or Railway Station or your residence and drive to Chikmagalur. On arrival at Chikmagalur, check in to the hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Mullayanagiri. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka state located in Bababudangiri range. The height of Mullayanagiri is 6330 ft (1,930 meters) and it is regarded as the highest peak between Himalayas and Nilgiris. Evening, if time permits, visit to Rathnagiri Bore, a beautiful place located in northern side of Chikmagalur town which gives you peace to mind. Return to the Hotel and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Chikmagalur - Belur - Halebid - Bangalore

After breakfast, checkout the hotel and proceed to Bangalore. Enroute, visit to Belur and Halebid, are two tiny but beautiful temple towns famous for Hoysala architecture. The temples of Belur and Halebid are magnificently done up with intricate carvings and fine architecture.
