- Flights: Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air run non-stop flights from Ahmedabad to Bangkok Don Mueang in season (about 4 hours); other times you fly one-stop via Mumbai or Delhi. For Phuket or Krabi we connect through Bangkok or book one-stop flights from Ahmedabad.
- Visa: from 15 September 2026, Indian tourists can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days. Keep a return ticket, hotel bookings and enough funds; rules change from time to time, so we re-check them before you fly.
- Arrival card: complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before you land.

- November to April: dry, sunny and the calmest seas – best for island tours. Peak prices over Diwali, Christmas and New Year.
- May to October: monsoon on the Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi) – some boat trips may be cancelled for rough seas, but prices drop. Bangkok and Pattaya are fine year-round.
Food and tips for Indian travellers
- Vegetarian food: Indian restaurants are common in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Ao Nang. Tell us if you need Jain food and we include Indian meals in the package.
- Currency: Thai baht. Carry some cash for markets and boat tours.
- Temples: cover shoulders and knees at temples and the Grand Palace.
