The land of Varanasi (Kashi) has been the ultimate pilgrimage spot for Hindus for ages. Hindus believe that one who is graced to die on the land of Varanasi would attain salvation and freedom from the cycle of birth and re-birth.

Prayagraj is believed to be the most important pilgrimage centre for Hindus. Traditionally river confluences are regarded as auspicious places, but in Sangam, the significance of the confluence is most pious because here, the holy Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati meet to become one.

After breakfast, proceed to drive Sarnath -A very important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, the place where Buddha gave his first sermon. Now visit Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Monastery, Ashoka Pillar. In the evening visit to Namo ghat statues in a welcome gesture, a new NaMo Ghat is touched in the Ganga downstream. Two 25-ft-tall and one and one smaller ‘namaste’ statues have already been installed. Stay overnight at Varanasi.

Day 4

Varanasi – Prayagraj Local

After breakfast, checkout and drive Prayagraj. Check-in and take some time to relax. Now proceed to local sightseeing like Sangam-the sacred spot of the confluence of three holy rivers- Ganga,Yamuna and mythical Saraswati. After that proceed to Hanuman Mandir, Aanand Bhawan, Akshay Vatt, Chandrashekhar Azad Park. Back to the hotel & stay overnight.

Prayagraj - Ayodhya Local
