Uttar Pradesh, home to one of the oldest cities, hosts ancient Hindu temples on the bank of rivers, and towns and cities with narrow alleys where rich cultures inhabit. The famous Taj Mahal is also from the Agra district of UP, which attracts a lot of tourists each other, thus contributing to Uttar Pradesh tourism.
Transfer to hotel and take rest - Pick-up – proceed for local sightseeing at British Residency - La Martiniere College (Built in 1845) and visit Ambedkar Memorial Park in the evening, a vast marble clad park dedicated to B. R. Ambedkar "father of the Indian Constitution" where his statue was modeled on the sculpture of Abraham Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington . Later we do ‘Ganjing’ which is a leisurely walk in the wide lanes of ‘Hazratganj’ Lucknow’s most posh and happening market and enjoy the famous basket Chaat at Royal Café followed by Mughlai dinner at Naushijaan Darbar – stop by to relish Maghai Paan at Chaurasia Pan centre - back to hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel – post breakfast sightseeing tour of Asafi (Bada) Imambada, Rumi Darwaja, Husainabad (Chhota) Imambada, Clock Tower . Later in the afternoon we enjoy Thandai at Pandit Raja Thandai in Chowk - followed by a visit to very popular food joint ‘Idris Ki Biryani’ followed by the most celebrated place of Lucknow ‘Tunday Kababi’ (1905) where we savor the melt-in-the-mouth 'Galawati Kebabs' - (Veg option, Kachori Sabji at Netram) – stop by for a heartwarming Kulfi Falooda at the famed Prakash Kulfi in Aminabad. Back to hotel and overnight stay.
Today we explore this land of Nawabs. We visit Rumi darwaja - an example of Awadhi architecture, Clock Tower - India’s largest clock tower, Chota Imambara - one of the most beautiful and attractive buildings in the old city, Bada Imambara - known for its incredible maze and also known as Bhul Bhulaiya locally, British residency - a signi?cant part of the Seige of Lucknow (1857), the ruins of which can still be seen at the site. Further we pass by Jama Masjid - an important religious centre in Lucknow and Chattar manzil - also known as Umbrella Palace. It still retains its old world charm and now houses the of?ce of the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI). Later we proceed to Ayodhya - a popular pilgrim centre. This town is closely associated with Lord Rama.
Today we visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir – the birthplace of Lord Rama, Hanuman Garhi - a 10th century temple of lord Hanuman, Dashrath Mahal - the original residence of King Dashrath - the ruler of Ayodhya and father of Lord Shri Ram, Kanak Bhavan - it is believed that this Bhawan was gifted to Devi Sita by Kaikei immediately after her marriage to Lord Ram. Further we stroll around Ram ki paidi for amazing photography. In the evening we enjoy a fountain light show at Surya Kund where the colourful lights tell stories from the Ramayana. (subject to operation).
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Varanasi. On reaching check into hotel and get freshen up. Later in the evening visit to Ganga Ghat to witness Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat and Visit Sarnath overnight at hotel.
Start your day with Sunrise boat ride followed by visit Temple to Kashi Vishwanath etc. After breakfast proceed on a half day temple tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata (Mother India) Mandir, Durga, Tulsi Manas, Sankat Mochan Temple and the new Vishwanath Temple. Stay overnight in Hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Airport.
