Overview

Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood.

Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is a hill station in the state of Tamil Nadu, in southern India. Surrounded by trees, central Ooty Lake is a huge artificial expanse of water with pleasure boats. On the slopes of nearby Elk Hill, the Rose Garden is home to over 2,000 varieties of roses. The Government Botanical Garden, created in the 19th century, features ferns, orchids and a prehistoric, fossilized tree.

On arrived at Bangalore Airport / Railway Station drive to Mysore and check in at the hotel. Later visit the Mysore Palace. Later take a drive to Chamundi Hills and pay your obeisance to goddess Chamundi. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. This Garden has been the filming location for many Hindi movies of bygone days. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

Mysore to Ooty

After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Ooty, Welcome to "Ooty - The Queen of Hill Stations". On arrival, check into your hotel. Later Visit Doddabetta peak, Botanical Garden, Rose Garden. Later, visit Charing Cross. Go for shopping and lunch (on direct payment basis). After shopping, visit Tea Museum and enjoy boating at the Ooty Lake on Direct Payment. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Excursion to Coonoor

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of the 'Queen of the Blue Mountains’, that includes a visit to a spectacular view of Doddabetta peak. Drive to Coonoorand visit Sims Park, Lams Rock, Hidden Valley, Golf Court and Dolphin nose point and drive to Kotagiri visit Kodanade View point St Catherine Water Falls. Enjoy some free time for leisure. Return for an overnight stay at hotel in Ooty.
