Kathmandu is the capital city and largest city of Nepal with a population of around 1 million. Kathmandu is also the largest metropolis in the Himalayan hill region. Nepali is the most spoken language in the city.
Pokhara is a city on Phewa Lake, in central Nepal. It’s known as a gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trail in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the eastern shore, the Lakeside district has yoga centers and restaurants. In the city’s south, the International Mountain Museum has exhibits on the history of mountaineering and the people of the Himalayas.
After completion of immigration formalities at the Kathmandu Airport exit door, you will be met by our representative and get transferred to the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast you would be taken for a tour of Kathmandu City. You would visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Later in the day you would visit Patan Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa, where we need to climb 360 stone steps to reach the top. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Pokhara. On the way you have an option of either opting river rafting or visiting Manakamana Temple, the holy goddess of Aspirations or Devi of all wishes. You can reach the temple by taking the cable car ride on a direct payment basis. On arrival in Pokhara, check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Weather permitting you have an option of either going for a walk near the lake or going for boating over Phewa Lake on a direct payment basis. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.
Early in the morning you will be taken to Sarangkot, a village just above Pokhara and about 13 Kms away from Lakeside which is famous for great views of Himalayas and of Pokhara Valley on clear days weather permitting. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes to drive from Pokhara to reach the place. Later in the day visit Vindhyavasini Temple, David 's Fall and Gupteshwar Mahadev Caves which is divided into 2 parts - temple of lord Shiva and about 100 metres further down where we can see water coming from David’s Fall. During monsoons you may not be allowed to go beyond the Temple. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kathmandu. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free for personal activities like exploring Thamel, a major shopping hub, on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Airport for your return journey.
