You will be arriving at Pune railway station or airport. There our tour representative will meet you and then help you to proceed towards Matheran. You can either drive up to the Dasturi Car Point and then walk or ride a pony for the rest. Or you can drive to Neral and take the toy train from there. After reaching Matheran, do not waste the afternoon and catch a glimpse of sunset from Porcupine Point. You can see King George Point and Echo Point as well. Stay at the hotel for the night.

After the breakfast at the hotel, take a tour of Matheran to see some more of its lovely attractions. Louisa Point is a table-top off the cliff, looking over the vast expanse of Sahyadri. From Alexander Point, you can spot a couple of waterfalls and bask in the cold mist. Monkey Point is yet another addition to the itinerary, but you have to be aware of the monkeys. Do not forget to stop at Charlotte Lake and take in its brilliant blue beauty. Return to your hotel for a hearty dinner and overnight stay.

It takes only an hour and half to drive to Lonavala from Matheran, which means you are left with enough time for Lonavala sightseeing. Leave for Lonavala after breakfast and you will reach Lonavala much before lunch. You can see some attractions like Redwood Park and Shivaji Udyan before checking into hotel and having lunch. After meal and some rest, you can see the rest of the attractions like Valvan Dam, Tungarli lake, Rajmachi Point and the pristine Lonavala Lake. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

The 4th day of your Lonavala Khandala Matheran tour takes you to the most awaiting destination – Khandala. On your way you will spot the spectacular Kune Falls. In Khandala, there are yet some more vantage points for you like Amrutanjan Point and Duke’s Nose. Tiger’s Leap has a very unique landscape – it looks like a tiger is leaping from the edge into the cliff in a majestic manner. Be prepared for a trip down history in Karla and Bhaja Caves – two exemplary Buddhist cave architecture specimens dating back to 2nd century BC. Among lakes, there is Khandala Lake and Bhushi Lake with a dam on it.

You will be driven back to Pune or Mumbai railway station/airport, depending on your ride back home, after you have your breakfast and check-out of hotel. Have a safe journey back home with tons of memories of fond moments, mind-blowing sceneries and some excellent photographs.
