Overview

Jamnagar is a city in the western Indian state of Gujarat. On an island in Lakhota Lake, Lakhota Palace and Museum is a former fort that exhibits weapons, sculptures and pottery from the 9th to 18th centuries. At Bala Hanuman Temple, the Rama Naam prayer has been chanted continuously since 1964. To the northeast, the marshlands of Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary attract spotted deer, painted storks and migratory birds.

Dwarka is an ancient city in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna. Dwarka Beach and nearby Dwarka Lighthouse offer views of the Arabian Sea. Southeast, Gaga Wildlife Sanctuary protects migratory birds and endangered species like the Indian wolf.

The Somnath temple located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat, is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is an important pilgrimage and tourist spot of Gujarat.

Rajkot is a city in the western Indian state of Gujarat. In central Jubilee Garden are the Lang Library, with Gujarati literature, and the Watson Museum, with paintings and artifacts documenting British colonial rule. Kaba Gandhi No Delo, the house where Mahatma Gandhi spent part of his childhood, displays photos of the Indian leader and his belongings. The Rotary Dolls Museum exhibits dolls from around the world.

On arrival at Ahmedabad, our local representative will meet you at the Airport and transfer you to Jamnagar (315 km / 6 hours). Check in and refresh quickly. Proceed to visit Lakhota Lake & Lakhota Museum. In the evening visit Bala Hanuman Temple, much known for its nonstop Ramdhun since 1956 and been mentioned in Guinness Book of World Records for the same unique attraction. Evening is free when you can stroll in the local markets and shop for famous bandhni work. Return to hotel and relax. Stay overnight at hotel in Jamnagar.

After Breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to Dwarka (150 km / 3 hours). Check in at the hotel and refresh quickly. Proceed to visit the sacred Dwarkadheesh Temple. Take a holy dip in River Gomti and later visit the other sacred places like Nageshwar Jyotirling Temple, Gopi Talav and Bet Dwarka. On your way back visit Rukmani Temple- dedicated to Lord Krishna’s first wife. In the evening, visit other temples on coastal area followed by attending evening Aarti at Dwarkadheesh Temple. Later return to hotel for a relaxed sleep.

Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Porbandar (75 km / 1.5 hours) where we visit Kirti Mandir - the famous place where Mahatma Gandhi was born. Later proceed for Somnath (130 km / 2.5 hours) and check in at hotel. Refresh quickly and set out to visit Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Ghat & Somnath Temple. Attend the beautiful and auspicious evening Aarti and later enjoy the Light & Sound show. Afterwards return to hotel for a relaxed sleep.

After Breakfast check out of the hotel. Gujarat is noted for its beautiful temples since ancient times and today is another day when we explore and visit numerous beautiful temples. First we visit Virpur (135 km / 2.5 hours) to see Jalaram Temple and Swaminarya temple. Just nearby to Virpur, we then proceed to Gondal (20 km / 30 mins) and see Navlakha Palace and Vintage Car Museum here. After the visit, we proceed our drive to Rajkot (40 km / 40 mins) and arrive by evening. Check in at hotel and Overnight stay at Hotel.

After Breakfast check out from Hotel and proceed to Ahmedabad en-route famous Gandhinagar (225 km / 4 hours). We visit the magnificent Akshardham temple, one of the wonders of modern world to admire its grand architecture and also see the ancient Adalaj Step Well, the unique Hindu water building built very close to Ahmedabad. Then we visit the peaceful Gandhi Ashram along the banks of River Sabarmati, the place from where Mahatma Gandhi had set out his Dandi march. Today it is converted into a museum. Later we drop you at the Airport for your return (30 km / 40 mins).
