The Nubra Valley is also called the valley of flowers. This route is 205 Km long till Turtuk village. The valley is situated on the foot hills of the Karakoram Range and is drained by Shayok and Siachen River. In ancient times and even till mid-20th century Nubra was a corridor of the silk Trade route. Shayok River which is the tributary of the Indus in the main river that flows through this valley.
