Dubai is the international trip Gujarati families take most often, and the one most often repeated. The reasons are practical: non-stop flights from Ahmedabad land in about three hours, the UAE visa is straightforward and we handle it, Bur Dubai and Karama have more Gujarati and Jain thali restaurants than most Indian cities outside Gujarat, and the sightseeing – Burj Khalifa, desert safari, Dubai Mall, the Marina, Abu Dhabi's Grand Mosque and the BAPS Hindu Mandir – works equally well for a honeymoon, a three-generation family or a corporate incentive group.
The packages below are live with today's prices. Beneath them you will find our 2026 cost guide and a full per-person cost breakdown, flight logic from Ahmedabad, three day-wise itineraries, a Dubai vs Abu Dhabi vs Ras Al Khaimah table, the visa walkthrough, a month-by-month planner built around the Dubai Shopping Festival and Global Village, and twelve FAQs answered the way we answer them at our C G Road office.
Dubai tour package price guide (2026)
Dubai packages on this page start at ₹17,500 per person. Dubai pricing is driven by hotel location (Deira and Bur Dubai are half the price of Downtown or the Palm), the season (October to March costs more than summer), and which experiences are included rather than sold on the spot. The bands below are per person on twin sharing, excluding international flights and visa, with private or shared transfers, breakfast, a city tour, a desert safari with dinner and a dhow cruise with dinner included.
| Trip | Standard (3★ Deira / Bur Dubai) | Deluxe (4★ Downtown / Marina) | Premium (5★ / Palm / JBR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3N/4D Dubai essentials | ₹18,000 – 24,000 | ₹28,000 – 36,000 | ₹55,000+ |
| 4N/5D Dubai with Burj Khalifa and Abu Dhabi | ₹24,000 – 32,000 | ₹36,000 – 48,000 | ₹70,000+ |
| 5N/6D Dubai + Abu Dhabi + theme park | ₹32,000 – 42,000 | ₹46,000 – 60,000 | ₹90,000+ |
| 6N/7D Dubai + Abu Dhabi + Ras Al Khaimah or cruise | ₹40,000 – 52,000 | ₹58,000 – 75,000 | ₹1,20,000+ |

Usually extra on the ground: Burj Khalifa top-floor (148th) upgrade, Dubai Frame, Museum of the Future, Aquaventure or IMG Worlds tickets unless named, hot-air balloon, quad biking at the safari camp, the "tourism dirham" fee hotels collect per room per night (roughly AED 10–20 depending on hotel category), tips and shopping. Our quote lists every one of these so the number you see is the number you pay.
How to reach Dubai from Ahmedabad
- Non-stop Ahmedabad–Dubai: several airlines fly SVPI Airport to Dubai (DXB) every day, with Indian and Gulf carriers both on the route; flying time is about 3 hours. Dubai is 1 h 30 min behind India, so a morning departure lands before lunch and an evening departure lands in time for dinner. We book flights with the package and our Dubai representative meets you after immigration.
- Sharjah and Abu Dhabi alternatives: Ahmedabad also has flights to Sharjah (SHJ, 30–40 minutes from Dubai by road) and one-stop options to Abu Dhabi (AUH); on peak dates these can be ₹3,000 – 6,000 cheaper per person and we quote them when it helps.
- Return fares: ₹14,000 – 22,000 per person in most months, rising to ₹25,000 – 35,000 in Diwali week, Christmas–New Year and the Gujarat May vacation. Booking 6–8 weeks ahead usually captures the lower band.
- Dubai to Abu Dhabi: about 1 h 30 min by road; we do it as a full-day private tour and return the same evening, or add a night in Abu Dhabi for the Louvre, Yas Island and the BAPS Mandir at an easier pace.
- Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah: about 1 h 15 min by road – a quiet beach-and-mountain extension for honeymooners and seniors.
- Getting around Dubai: packages include private or shared air-conditioned transfers and tours. The Dubai Metro is clean, cheap and air-conditioned, linking Deira, Bur Dubai, Downtown (Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station) and the Marina – useful for a free afternoon; taxis are metered and safe.

UAE visa for Indians – how it works with us
- Who needs it: most Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa before travel. Indians holding a valid US visa, US green card, or a UK or EU residence permit may be eligible for a visa on arrival – we check your eligibility and advise.
- Types: 30-day single-entry is the normal tourist visa; a 60-day visa is available for longer stays. Processing is typically 3–5 working days, and expedited processing is possible for an extra fee.
- Documents: colour scan of the passport (valid six months), a passport-size photo on white background, confirmed return ticket and hotel booking (both come from your package) and, in some cases, a PAN card copy or bank statement.
- Process: we prepare and submit the application; approval is at the discretion of the UAE immigration authorities. The e-visa arrives by email and you carry a printout. Most airlines no longer need an "OK to Board" update for UAE visas (Air India dropped it in December 2024); we check your airline's current rule before departure.
- Cost: billed at cost, typically ₹6,500 – 8,500 for a 30-day visa including processing; the fee is non-refundable even if travel is cancelled, so we apply once flights and hotels are confirmed.
Dubai Shopping Festival and Global Village season
Two events shape the Gujarati family calendar. The Dubai Shopping Festival runs from mid-December to late January, with mall discounts, raffles, fireworks and concerts – the single most popular period for Ahmedabad families with Christmas and New Year holidays. Global Village, the open-air park with 90-plus country pavilions, street food and shows, opens around mid-October and closes around late April or early May; it is a highlight for children and seniors alike and is included as an evening in most of our winter itineraries. The Miracle Garden keeps roughly the same season. In summer (June–September) all three are closed, so summer itineraries lean on indoor attractions – malls, the Aquarium, IMG Worlds, Ski Dubai and the Museum of the Future.
Best time to visit Dubai – month by month
| Months | Weather | Good for | Prices |
|---|---|---|---|
| November – February | Pleasant, 18–28°C, cool evenings in the desert | Everything; Dubai Shopping Festival (mid-Dec to late Jan), Global Village, New Year fireworks; Diwali and Christmas weeks | Highest; book 6–8 weeks ahead for Christmas–New Year |
| March – April | Warm, 25–35°C, still comfortable in the evening | Honeymoons, seniors, end of Global Village season; Ramadan may fall here (see note) | Moderate to high |
| May | Hot, 35–40°C, humid by late May | Gujarat school vacation – plan mall mornings, pool afternoons and evening safari | Moderate; good hotel deals begin |
| June – September | Very hot, 40–45°C and humid; outdoor attractions closed | Budget travellers who stay indoors; Dubai Summer Surprises sales; 5★ hotels at 3★ prices | Lowest of the year, 40–50% off winter rates |
| October | Cooling fast, 30–36°C; Global Village reopens mid-month | Navratri-to-Diwali trips, early-season value | Rising through the month |
Ramadan moves about eleven days earlier each year and in the late 2020s falls in the February–March period. Dubai remains fully open for tourists and restaurants serve food through the day, but entertainment is quieter and the safari camp may skip live shows; we tell you if your dates overlap. For Ahmedabad families the Diwali week and the Christmas-to-New-Year week are the two busiest periods, and the Gujarat May vacation is a workable, lower-cost option if you accept the heat.
Places to visit in Dubai and the UAE
- Burj Khalifa: the 828-metre tower; the 124th–125th floor deck at sunset is the standard ticket, the 148th floor lounge is the upgrade.
- Dubai Mall and the Dubai Fountain: 1,200 shops, the Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, an ice rink and the fountain show every 30 minutes from 6 pm.
- Desert safari: dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, henna, tanoura and fire shows and a barbecue dinner with vegetarian counters – the evening every family remembers.
- Dubai Marina and JBR: the dhow or yacht cruise, The Beach promenade, Ain Dubai at Bluewaters.
- Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis: Aquaventure water park, the Lost Chambers aquarium and The View observation deck.
- Old Dubai: Al Fahidi heritage quarter, the abra crossing on Dubai Creek, Gold Souk and Spice Souk, Meena Bazaar for saris and jewellery.
- Dubai Frame and Museum of the Future: the 150-metre picture frame between old and new Dubai, and the city's most striking new museum.
- Global Village and Miracle Garden: seasonal (roughly October–April) and both excellent for children and grandparents.
- Theme parks: IMG Worlds of Adventure (indoor), Motiongate and Legoland at Dubai Parks, Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates.
- Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the BAPS Hindu Mandir (the first traditional stone Hindu temple in the Middle East, opened in 2024), Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World and Warner Bros World on Yas Island.
- Ras Al Khaimah: Jebel Jais, the UAE's highest peak, with the Jais Flight zipline and quiet beach resorts.
- Sharjah: the Blue Souk, Al Noor Mosque and the Museum of Islamic Civilisation, 30 minutes from Deira.
Food, hotels and tips for Gujarati travellers
- Gujarati, Jain and pure-veg food: Dubai is the easiest international city for Gujarati food. Bur Dubai (Meena Bazaar, Al Fahidi area) and Karama have dozens of pure-vegetarian restaurants serving unlimited Gujarati thali, Kathiyawadi dishes, Jain thali, South Indian and Punjabi food, with prices of roughly ₹500 – 900 per thali. Deira has Indian restaurants on almost every street. Downtown and the Marina have fewer, so we plan dinners back in Bur Dubai or at an Indian restaurant in the Dubai Mall. Desert safari camps serve a barbecue buffet with separate vegetarian counters; a Jain meal can be requested in advance for most camps. Abu Dhabi has Indian restaurants near the BAPS Mandir and in the city centre.
- Hotel areas: Deira and Bur Dubai for value, Gujarati food and the Metro; Downtown for Burj Khalifa views; the Marina and JBR for beach and honeymoon stays; the Palm for luxury resorts. 3★ hotels in Deira are clean, air-conditioned and perfectly adequate; 4★ in Bur Dubai with a rooftop pool is the family sweet spot.
- Money: the dirham (AED) is fixed to the US dollar and is roughly ₹26 as of November 2026. Cards work everywhere; a forex card plus AED 300–500 per family in cash for souks, taxis and tips is enough. Shopping at Dubai Mall is not cheaper than India for electronics or gold once duty is counted; souks and Meena Bazaar are where bargains are.
- Dress and conduct: Dubai is relaxed for tourists – modest dress in malls, souks and mosques (shoulders and knees covered; abayas are provided at the Grand Mosque). Public displays of affection and photographing strangers are frowned upon. Alcohol is served in licensed hotel restaurants only.
- Pack: light clothing with a jacket for air-conditioned interiors and winter desert evenings, sunglasses, sunscreen, a scarf for mosques, swimwear and comfortable shoes for malls – a Dubai Mall day is 5–8 km of walking.
- Timings: Burj Khalifa sunset slots sell out first – we book them two weeks ahead. The desert safari pick-up is around 3 pm and returns around 9.30 pm. Global Village opens at 4 pm. Friday is the start of the weekend, so expect bigger crowds Friday evening and Saturday.
- Connectivity: a tourist SIM is available at the airport with 2–4 GB free for a few days; a 7-day eSIM costs about ₹800 – 1,200. Video calls on WhatsApp are restricted in the UAE; Botim and similar apps work.

Dubai tour packages – frequently asked questions
How much does a Dubai tour package cost from Ahmedabad?
Dubai packages on this page start at ₹17,500 per person. A 4-night package with a 3★ Bur Dubai hotel, city tour, desert safari, dhow cruise and Burj Khalifa costs ₹24,000–32,000 per person excluding flights and visa; a 4★ Downtown or Marina hotel takes it to ₹36,000–48,000. Add ₹14,000–22,000 for nonstop flights and ₹6,500–8,500 for the visa.
How long is the flight from Ahmedabad to Dubai?
About 3 hours nonstop. Several airlines fly the Ahmedabad–Dubai route daily, with morning and evening departures, and Dubai is 1 h 30 min behind India so you land at a convenient local time. Flights to Sharjah, 30–40 minutes from Dubai, are a cheaper alternative on peak dates.
Do Indians need a visa for Dubai and how long does it take?
Most Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa before travel; those with a valid US visa, green card or UK/EU residence permit may be eligible for visa on arrival. We prepare and submit the application – normally 3–5 working days – and approval is at the discretion of UAE immigration. You need a passport scan, a white-background photo and your confirmed flights and hotel.
How many days are enough for Dubai?
Four nights covers the essentials – city tour, desert safari, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, dhow cruise and a free day. Five nights lets you add Abu Dhabi for the Grand Mosque and BAPS Mandir. Six to seven nights fits a theme park, Ras Al Khaimah or a short cruise. Three nights is possible but rushed.
Is Gujarati and Jain food available in Dubai?
Abundantly. Bur Dubai and Karama have dozens of pure-vegetarian restaurants serving unlimited Gujarati thali, Kathiyawadi food and Jain thali at roughly ₹500–900 per person, and Deira has Indian restaurants on every street. Desert safari camps have vegetarian counters and most accept Jain requests in advance. We confirm meals in writing and share a restaurant list.
Is Abu Dhabi worth adding to a Dubai trip?
Yes, especially for Gujarati families. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the most beautiful building in the UAE, and the BAPS Hindu Mandir, opened in 2024, is a highlight for most of our clients. Families add Ferrari World or Warner Bros World. A full-day private tour from Dubai costs about ₹3,500–6,000 per person; staying a night is better for seniors.
Which is the best month to visit Dubai?
November to March is the ideal season – pleasant weather, the Dubai Shopping Festival from mid-December to late January, and Global Village open. May works for the Gujarat vacation with indoor afternoons and lower hotel rates. June to September is extremely hot but 40–50% cheaper, and all the malls, aquariums and indoor parks are open.
Is Dubai good for a honeymoon?
Yes, for couples who want a city-and-luxury honeymoon with a short flight. We book Marina or JBR hotels with décor, a Burj Khalifa sunset slot, a candle-lit dinner at the Dubai Fountain, a private or premium desert safari and a yacht cruise. Five nights with 4★ hotels costs ₹46,000–60,000 per person plus flights and visa.
What is usually not included in a Dubai package?
Flights and visa unless added as line items, lunches and most dinners, Burj Khalifa 148th-floor upgrade, theme-park tickets unless named, quad biking and hot-air balloon at the safari, the tourism dirham fee collected by hotels, tips, travel insurance and 5% GST. Every quote lists inclusions and exclusions side by side.
Is Dubai suitable for senior citizens and small children?
Very suitable. Distances are short, everything is air-conditioned, and Bur Dubai hotels put Gujarati food within walking distance. For seniors we skip dune bashing in favour of a direct camp transfer, time the Burj Khalifa for late afternoon and keep Abu Dhabi optional. For children, the Aquarium, IMG Worlds, Aquaventure and Global Village are the highlights.
What does a desert safari include and which type should I choose?
A standard evening safari includes pick-up around 3 pm, dune bashing in a 4×4, camel ride, sandboarding, henna, tanoura and fire shows and a barbecue buffet with vegetarian counters, returning around 9.30 pm. Premium safaris have smaller camps, better food and a quieter setting – right for honeymooners. Seniors can ask for a no-dune-bashing transfer.
Is ₹1,00,000 enough for a couple to visit Dubai from Ahmedabad?
For a 4-night trip with 3★ hotel, all major sightseeing, nonstop flights and visas, a couple spends roughly ₹1,00,000–1,30,000 all-in outside peak weeks, so ₹1 lakh is tight but possible in the shoulder season or summer. For a 4★ hotel and Abu Dhabi, budget ₹1,30,000–1,80,000 per couple. We show the full breakdown before you book.
Can we visit the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi?
Yes. The BAPS Hindu Mandir at Abu Mureikhah, on the Dubai–Abu Dhabi highway, is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday and is a fixed stop on our Abu Dhabi day trip. Dress modestly, expect security screening and restricted photography inside, and allow 2–3 hours including the Gujarati thali at the food court.
How much cash should I carry to Dubai?
Cards and forex cards work everywhere, so AED 300–500 (about ₹7,000–12,000) in cash per family is enough for souks, abra rides, taxis and tips. Indian rupees can be exchanged at Meena Bazaar money changers at fair rates. Keep shopping bills for the tourist VAT refund at the airport before departure.
