Overview

Haridwar is an ancient city and important Hindu pilgrimage site in North India's Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps), Har Ki Pauri hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (river-worshipping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps. Worshipers fill the city during major festivals including the annual Kanwar Mela.

On arrival at Delhi get pickup and transfer to Haridwar.On route Visit Daksh Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pawan Dham which is amongst the most visited is one of the oldest doms of Uttarakhand, Moti Bazar, Moti Bazar which is buzzing market as thousands of people are attracted to it for its cheap prices and varieties offered, and Har ki Pauri which is considered the most sacred of Ghats in Haridwar.
