Overview

Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading center and a princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City," it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja's Palace and intricately carved Jain temples.

Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.

Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.

After Breakfast get ready for City tour of Jaisalmer. Visit Jaisalmer Fort, constructed out of golden limestone, thus giving it the name of Sonar Qilla or the Golden Fort. Next, visit ancient buildings from the 12th to 15th century, including Patwon-ki-Haveli, Nathmal-ki-Haveli and Salim Singh ki Haveli, all of which are still inhabited. In Evening enjoy camel safari on Sam Sand Dunes.

After Breakfast check out from Hotel and Transfer to Jodhpur. On arrival at Jodhpur check into hotel and freshen up. After that Leave for the half day city tour. First stop would be the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, followed by a stop at Jaswant Thada, which is famed as the Taj Mahal of Mewar. After winding up the sightseeing tour, time permitting, you can also visit the local markets for a bout of shopping, and for sampling some of the local delicacies. Return to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

After Breakfast check out from Hotel and Transfer to Udaipur. On the way, make a stop at Ranakpur. Here, visit the Lord Adinatha Jain temple, which has 29 halls which are supported by 1444 pillars. The unique thing about this temple is that none of the 1444 pillars are alike. The temple is also full of intricately carved sculptures and murals. Also visit the Sun Temple, located right opposite this temple. On arrival at Udaipur check into hotel and spend the day at Leisure.

After Breakfast Visit City Palace, where mirrored walls and ivory doors welcome you. Marvel in wonder at the colored glass windows, the famous peacock courtyard and the intricate marble balconies. Next, pay a visit to the Sahelion ki Bari, where the queen used to roam around with her friends. Also visit Gulab Bagh, and then pay your respects to Lord Vishnu at Jagdish Temple, which was constructed by Maharana Jagat Singh. You will also visit the popular Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum, which displays specimens of folk art such as ancestral apparels, puppets, dolls, masks and ornaments. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
