Visit the Jaisalmer Fort that also goes by the name of Sonar Qila or the Golden Fort. Its grandiose structure rises from the desert surrounding the region, which becomes a treat to the eyes when the sun sets below the horizon. The Fort complex houses three beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th centuries, and also the 8ve interconnected palaces.
