Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in the northeast Indian state of Assam. Spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra River, its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers, elephants and the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Ganges River dolphins swim in the park’s waters. It’s visited by many rare migratory birds, and gray pelicans roost near Kaziranga village.
On arrival at Guwahati Airport, meet our representative he will drive you to the hotel, as reach check in to the hotel. After freshen up you will visit Kamakhya Temple. In the evening you can enjoy Sunset at River Cruise on the mighty River Brahmaputra (subject to availability (weather) /direct payment basis). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga
Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. In the evening you can enjoy Cultural Dance show Program at Orchid Park. After return back to hotel and overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Shillong. On the way visit “Umiam Lake” which is also known as “Barapani Lake” where you can do boating (by own) as you reach Shillong check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Cherrapunji – the wettest place on the earth, on the way, visit Mawkdok Valley – a very prominent sightseeing spot. Nohsngithiang Falls, Seven Sisters Falls is the next attraction on the way. The falls is an epitome of unity of the seven states of north east India, thus the name. Up next are Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park from Eco Park, you also catch a glimpse of Sylhet plains Neighbouring Bangladesh. Enjoying the scenic route, you will go back to Shillong hotel for a restful sleep
Morning after breakfast, proceed to enjoy a local sightseeing tour of Shillong, ‘Scotland of the East’. You will be proceeded to visit Elephant Falls, Don Bosco Museum, The mesmerizing Lady Hydra Park, Ward’s Lake and Cathedral Catholic Church. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong
Mornings after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati, as reach proceed to visit Saraighat Bridge and Basistha Ashram. After sightseeing we shall escort you to Guwahati Airport. Tour ends with sweet memories.
