Overview

Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. North, the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people. Waterfalls include the Elephant Falls to the southwest. East of here, forested Shillong Peak offers city views.

On arriving at Guwahati airport our representative will welcome you and will transfer to Shillong , on reaching Shillong Proceed for the Local sightseeing if time permits and Later Over Night stay at Hotel.

Day 2

Cherapunjee Excursion

Nohsngithiang falls Dein-Thlen Falls Noh-Khalikai Falls Mawsmai Cave Thangkharang

After an early breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee (56 km), the wettest place on earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see the roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. Watch the Dein-Thlen Falls, Noh-Khalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls and also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park and the Living root Bridge. Return to Shillong. En route visit the Shillong Peak. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 3

Excurion to Mawlynnong Village and Dawki River

Early morning you may drive to Mawlynnong (90 kms from Shillong), the cleanest village in Asia. Return to Shillong. Visit the Tree House, Living Root Bridge, Sky View Point, Balancing rock. Also Visit Dawki. In the evening return to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.

Shillong to Guwahati
