Mahabaleshwar is a hill station in India's forested Western Ghats range, south of Mumbai. It features several elevated viewing points, such as Arthur’s Seat. West of here is centuries-old Pratapgad Fort, perched atop a mountain spur. East, Lingmala Waterfall tumbles off a sheer cliff. Colorful boats dot Venna Lake, while 5 rivers meet at Panch Ganga Temple to the north.
On Arrival at Airport or Railway station and drive to Mahabaleshwar on arrival check in to hotel and after fresh and Later go for a full day excursion to Panchgani covering Table Land point, Sunset point, adventure park. Drive back to Mahabaleshwar by evening. Stay overnight at the hotel in Mahabaleshwar.
Half Day Sightseeing of Pratapgadh about 24 km. away from Mahabaleshwar lies Pratapgad, the pride of the Maratha Empire. Built in 1656, it is a maze of ponds, chambers and long dark walkways, some of which lead to trap doors that open to a 100 meter fall! It was here that Afzal Khan, the mighty general of Bijapur, met his untimely death at the hands of Shivaji. Rest of The day free for shopping. Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
