This Short Trip to Saputara, Nasik and Shirdi links three very different stops into one easy drive from Ahmedabad: the lake and sunrise point of Saputara in the Dang hills, the Godavari ghats and Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga near Nasik, and two nights at Shirdi for Sai Baba darshan without rushing. It is the route Gujarati families choose when parents want a pilgrimage and children want a hill station.
From ₹20,000 per person, the price covers 2★ and 3★ hotels with breakfast, a private AC car from Ahmedabad and back, and all transfers. Darshan passes, entry tickets and other meals are arranged on request. The itinerary runs entirely on your own dates with your own car and driver.
Saputara is a hill town in the west Indian state of Gujarat. The Artist Village cultural center displays, and sells, tribal arts and crafts. Artifacts, including ritual objects, trace the heritage of the local Dang tribe at Saputara Tribal Museum. Green spaces with picnic spots include the Step Garden and the Lake Garden, set on Lake Saputara. Governor’s Hill Trail offers views of the surrounding rivers and valleys.
Nashik is an ancient holy city in Maharashtra, a state in western India. It’s known for its links to the “Ramayana” epic poem. On the Godavari River is Panchavati, a temple complex. Nearby, Lord Rama was thought to have bathed at Ram Kund water tank, today attended by Hindu devotees. Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir is an ancient shrine to Rama, while Rama and Sita are said to have worshipped at Sita Gufaa caves.
Shirdi is a town in the state of Maharashtra, in western India. It's known as the former home of revered spiritual leader Sai Baba, and as a major pilgrimage site. Devotees gather daily at the Sai Baba Temple complex to honor his legacy. Here, the Samadhi Mandir shrine has an ornate marble statue of Sai Baba, alongside his tomb. Close by are Dwarkamai, a mosque where Sai Baba once lived, and tree-lined Lendi Garden.

Saputara Our journey will be start from Ahmedabad in the first day. All the tourist will be picked up from Manmad at 11:30 am. Then we will move to Saputara first, at the saputara we will get more fun and entertainment till the evening time we can enjoy the Saputara then we will enjoy the Sunset with the day end in the Saputara as this will be first night halt in the Saputara.

In the day second we will start it by the beautiful sunrise in the Saputara at 5:00 a.m. then till the 10 - 11 a.m. we will enjoy some Saputara again. At the 11:30 we will leave the Saputara and will go for Nasik tour. In the Nasik we will go to Trimbakeshwar, falke smark, panchwati till the end of the day. And then overnight stay in Nasik.
In the day 3rd we will start it from Nasik and drive to Shirdi Sai baba darshan. Then we sill enjoy the Shirdi water park. Some time will also available for shopping in the Shirdi. As we will take again one halt in the Shirdi.
After breakfast from hotel and go for local sightseeing of Shirdi and visit the famous places later drive back to hotel for overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Ahmedabad for further journey to home and drop at home. The tour is end here.

- Day 1 – Ahmedabad to Saputara: about 7 hours by road via Surat and Waghai; afternoon at Saputara Lake, Sunset Point and the ropeway. Stay at Chitrakoot Hill Resort (3★).
- Day 2 – Saputara to Nasik: sunrise viewpoint, then a 2.5-hour drive to Nasik (Hotel Meher, 2★) for Panchavati, Ramkund and the Godavari ghats.
- Days 3–4 – Shirdi: Trimbakeshwar en route, Sai Baba darshan, Shirdi water park for children and local sightseeing. Stay at Daiwik Hotel (3★).
- Day 5 – Shirdi to Ahmedabad: about 9 hours by road with a lunch break near Surat.

Getting there from Ahmedabad
This is a pure road trip. Ahmedabad to Saputara is roughly 400 km via the expressway to Surat and then the forest road through Waghai, which is scenic but slow, so budget 7 hours. Saputara to Nasik is about 80 km, Nasik to Shirdi about 90 km, and the return from Shirdi to Ahmedabad around 480 km. Travellers who prefer not to drive the last leg can take an overnight train from Sainagar Shirdi or Manmad to Ahmedabad, and we adjust the car accordingly.
Good to know before you book
- Best months: Saputara is at its greenest from July to September during the monsoon festival; October to February is cool and clear for the whole route. Shirdi is crowded on Thursdays and Guru Purnima.
- Food: pure-veg Gujarati thalis are standard in Saputara, and Shirdi and Nasik have many Jain-friendly restaurants near the temples.
- Who it suits: families with elderly parents, first-time travellers and anyone wanting a pilgrimage with a hill-station break.
