From Pune it reaches Bhimashankar and Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingas, gives a full morning at Shirdi with Shani Shingnapur on the way out, continues to Pandharpur for the Vitthal Rukmini temple and ends in Kolhapur at the Mahalaxmi temple and Jyotiba hill, with Rankala Lake and the Shahu museum for a lighter last day.

It's known for the grand Aga Khan Palace, built in 1892 and now a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, whose ashes are preserved in the garden. Nashik is an ancient holy city in Maharashtra, a state in western India. It’s known for its links to the “Ramayana” epic poem. On the Godavari River is Panchavati, a temple complex. Nearby, Lord Rama was thought to have bathed at Ram Kund water tank, today attended by Hindu devotees. Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir is an ancient shrine to Rama, while Rama and Sita are said to have worshipped at Sita Gufaa caves.
Shirdi is a town in the state of Maharashtra, in western India. It's known as the former home of revered spiritual leader Sai Baba, and as a major pilgrimage site. Devotees gather daily at the Sai Baba Temple complex to honor his legacy. Here, the Samadhi Mandir shrine has an ornate marble statue of Sai Baba, alongside his tomb. Close by are Dwarkamai, a mosque where Sai Baba once lived, and tree-lined Lendi Garden.
Sri Kshetra Pandharpur is a well known pilgrimage town on the banks of Chandrabhaga River in Solapur district, Maharashtra, India. Pandharpur is situated on 17°11' north latitude and 75°11' east longitude in Solapur District. The Vithoba temple attracts about a million Hindu pilgrims during the major yatra in Ashadh.
Kolhapur is a city on the banks of the Panchaganga River, in the west Indian state of Maharashtra. It’s known for its temples, like the ancient Mahalakshmi Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site. The Bhavani Mandap is an imposing old palace with a small museum displaying stuffed wild animals. Close by, Rankala Lake is surrounded by gardens. The hilltop Jyotiba Temple complex is on the city's outskirts.

- Day 1 – Pune: arrival and transfer to Hotel Shree Yash (3★).

Getting there from Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad to Pune is a 1.5-hour non-stop flight with several services a day, or an overnight train of 11 to 13 hours. Travellers who want to shorten the loop can fly into Pune and out of Kolhapur, which has flights to Mumbai and Hyderabad, or take the overnight train from Kolhapur to Mumbai and connect to Ahmedabad. If you prefer to drive from Ahmedabad, we can supply the car for the full circuit via Surat and Nashik, which also lets you skip the Pune night.

- Best months: October to February. Ashadhi Ekadashi at Pandharpur (usually June–July) draws lakhs of pilgrims and hotels sell out; Shirdi is busiest on Thursdays and during Ram Navami and Guru Purnima.
- Food: every stop is a temple town with pure-veg Maharashtrian and Gujarati thalis; Jain food is easy in Shirdi, Nashik and Kolhapur.
- Who it suits: devout families and senior parents who want all major Maharashtra shrines in one trip; two long drive days need some stamina.
- Customisation: add Grishneshwar and Ellora, Tuljapur Bhavani, or a Mahabaleshwar night for a break between temples.

Yes. Shirdi, Nashik and Kolhapur have Jain restaurants and the hotels serve vegetarian breakfast. Pandharpur has pure-veg Maharashtrian food; we inform the hotel of Jain needs in advance.
Can we start from Ahmedabad by car?
Yes. A private car from Ahmedabad reaches Nashik in about 8 hours via Surat, so the loop can run Nashik–Shirdi–Pune–Pandharpur–Kolhapur and back. Ask for a re-priced plan.
