Nubra is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north from Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra
Pangong Tso, Tibetan for "high grassland lake", also referred to as Pangong Lake, is an endorheic lake in the Himalayas situated at a height of about 4,350 m. It is 134 km long and extends from India to the Tibetan Autonomous Region, China.
On arrival at Airport you will be transferred to Hotel/ Houseboat. No sightseeing during the day. Overnight at Srinagar
Full Day return excursion to Gulmarg, called as “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. Enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride – OPTIONAL (Gondola) Return to Srinagar for a Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel Srinagar.
After Breakfast, start your journey to Ladakh. Enroute you can stop by Sonamarg to capture the mystic landscapes. Later visit Drass memorial, before you finally enter Ladakh region starting with Kargil. Overnight at Kargil Hotel.
After Breakfast, check out from Hotel, & proceed to Leh enroute visiting 30ft Long Maitreya Buddha, later visit Lamayuru Monastery, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame. Enroute also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals. Overnight at Leh.
After Breakfast, visit Shey & Thiksey Monastery with Leh Palace, Spituk Monastery, Hall of fame & Shanti Stupa later during the afternoon. Dont exert your body, if you are feeling tired at anytime during the day. Overnight at Leh.
After Breakfast, move towards second highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO & proceed towards Nubra valley covering Deskit Monastery enroute. Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Dont forget to click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk route. Overnight at Hunder/Nubra Camps/Hotel. Overnight Stay: Nubra
Leave early Morning after Breakfast, towards Spangmik/Pangong via Warila (17428ft), the most secluded pass of the region. We recommend to travel on this route only after first week of July till last of August. Later drive Diskit-Khalser-Agham-Warila-Sakthi-zingral-Changla-Tangste-Lukung to finally reach breathtaking Pangong Lake. (We recommend to travel on this route only after first week of July till last of August We have 2 routes here to opt for either via Shayok or via Warila, for which a call is taken at the ground itself as per live situation.) After Breakfast, check out from Camps for return journey to Leh. Enroute visit Hemis Monastery & 3-Idiots School. Overnight at Leh.
