Overview

Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats.

Leh, a high-desert city in the Himalayas, is the capital of the Leh region in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir state. In the morning you, We will give you bikes for what you are wait We will take you to Khardungla pass which is the world’s highest motor able pass and then Diskit, headquarters of Nubra Valley. Its attraction is that of an ancient monastery that was built in the 14th century and is one of the oldest monasteries in Nubra Valley. Feel a sense of calm and spirituality of the location while exploring the ancient monastery. After a memorable day in Nubra Valley, it’s time to relax and end your day with a tempting dinner and overnight stay at camp.

After breakfast, visit Diskit & Hunder Villages and monasteries take a stroll around the place to see the life style of people living at the northernmost region of India. Proceed to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. On a clear sunny day, you can see seven colour formations in the crystal-clear salt water lake. Overnight stay in Pangong.

After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Leh. This route will give you a mesmerizing view of the landscape of this beautiful cold desert which leaves one spellbound. Tanglang La pass cuts through the mountains while one can witness a gentle stream flowing on a clear day surrounded by snow-capped mountains. During the ride, one can feel wind slapping against as it gets quite windy at times. Upon arrival, we settled down in the Hotel and the evening is left free up to our own disposal to explore the local market. It is recommended to browse through the local handicrafts and cuisines.
