Overview

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

After breakfast, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Manali. Visit Mall Road, Jogini waterfall, Vashishtha Kund, Hidimba Temple, Tibetan Monasteries and Club House Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.

Early morning take a half day excursion to Snow Point on the way to Rohtang. (Closed on Tuesday) On Direct Payment Basis. On return, visit Solang Valley. You can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing, and Skiing (subject to snow) on direct payment basis. Rohtang Pass: It is 51 Kms | 2hrs from Manali. It is not accessible for almost eight months in a year as it is covered by snow. Guests are generally are taken to the snow point on Rohtang Road, permitted by Border Security Force. In case a Tuesday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to the snow point on some other day as we have three nights in Manali. Solang Valley: It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley, 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. Note: All the adventure sports at Solang Valley/ Snow Suits at Snow point are on direct payment basis Both snow point at & Solang Valley will be covered on the very same day & the visit is subject to weather conditions.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion to Kufri (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). Incase, a Monday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to Naldhera Golf course instead of Kufri. Afternoon: Guests will be dropped at the Shimla Mall road to explore by themselves. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping. By Evening return to Hotel refresh yourself enjoy your dinner and transfer to Delhi for Drop. Note:Pony ride/ Golf kit charges at Kufri/Naldhera are on direct payment basis.
