Overview

Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Arrive at New Delhi Airport / Railway Station drive to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. A very popular holiday-retreat known for its Victorian architecture, which is re8ected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon. Enroute visit Pinjor Garden Upon arrival at Shimla, check in at the hotel Enjoy Leisure time and Stay overnight at hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion to Kufri (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). Incase, a Monday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to Naldhera Golf course instead of Kufri. Afternoon: Guests will be dropped at the Shimla Mall road to explore by themselves. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping. Evening, the guests shall be transferred to their respective hotels for overnight stay. Dinner shall be at the hotel. Note:Pony ride/ Golf kit charges at Kufri/Naldhera are on direct payment basis.

Day 3

Shimla – Manali

After breakfast at hotel, depart for Manali. Drive past Beas-Sutlej Link project, Pandoh Dam & Kullu Valley. Lunch shall be en-route on direct payment basis Check in to your hotel on arrival for an overnight stay.

Early morning take a half day excursion to Snow Point on the way to Rohtang. (Closed on Tuesday) On Direct Payment Basis. On return, visit Solang Valley. You can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing, and Skiing (subject to snow) on direct payment basis. Note: Atal Tunnel / Rohtang Pass is on direct payment basis by local manali cab union. All the adventure sports at Solang Valley/ Snow Suits at Snow point are on direct payment basis. The visit is subject to weather conditions.
