How to apply
- Check whether you hold a qualifying US, Canada, UK, Australia or Schengen visa or residence permit; if so, a Peruvian visa is not needed.
- If not, contact the Embassy of Peru in New Delhi for the current visa requirements.
- Submit your application and documents to the Embassy and pay the fee.
- Travel within 6 months of the visa issue date.
Important to know
Since 1 February 2025 Indian ordinary passport holders also need a Peruvian transit visa to connect or stop over in Peru, unless they hold one of the qualifying visas or residence permits.
The Embassy of India in Lima asks travellers not to stick stickers on passport covers and to keep passports undamaged.
