  1. Keep the documents ready in digital form
  2. Fill in the eTA application on etakenya.go.ke for each traveller
  3. Pay the eTA fee online
  4. Wait for approval by email (about 3 working days; apply at least 2 weeks before travel)
  5. Carry the approved eTA when you fly

Important to know

Travel only after the eTA is approved; flying without one can lead to being refused boarding or a penalty on arrival.

An eTA is not a final right of entry; admissibility is decided at the border.

Each person in a family or group needs their own eTA.

Ordinary Indian passports are not on Kenya's eTA-exempt list.

Check health and vaccination requirements before travel; the eTA form may ask for vaccination certificates.
