- Day 1 – Arrival: meet at Male airport and transfer by seaplane or speedboat to Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa (5★); check in to your overwater villa.
- Days 2–5 – At leisure: house-reef snorkelling from the villa, resort pool and spa, optional sunset cruise, dolphin watching or whale-shark excursion, and the honeymoon dinner included where listed.
- Day 6 – Departure: breakfast and transfer back to Male airport.

Getting there from Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad has no non-stop flight to Male. We route you via Mumbai, Bengaluru or Kochi; the Kochi–Male sector is about 1.5 hours and total travel time is usually 6 to 8 hours. The resort is about 90 km from Male, so the transfer is by seaplane (around 25 minutes, daylight only) or by domestic flight plus speedboat. We choose arrival flights that land before mid-afternoon so you reach the island the same day. Fares from Ahmedabad are lowest in May–June and September–October.
Good to know before you book
- Best months: December to April for dry weather and the clearest water. May to October has short showers and lower villa rates, and whale sharks are seen all year in South Ari.
- Food: the resort's buffets include vegetarian and Indian dishes daily, and the kitchen prepares Jain meals with advance notice. We send your requirements to the resort before arrival.
- Who it suits: honeymoon and anniversary couples; the overwater villas are not suitable for small children.
