Overview

Agra is a city on the banks of the Yamuna river in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, about 230 kilometres south-east of the national capital Delhi and 330 km west of the state capital Lucknow.

Nainital is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s Uttarakhand state, at an elevation of roughly 2,000m. Formerly a British hill station, it’s set around Nainital Lake, a popular boating site with Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north shore. A cable car runs to Snow View observation point (at 2,270m), with vistas over the town and mountains including Nanda Devi, Uttarakhand’s highest peak.

- Pickup from Delhi. Depending on arrival time, we will do some sightseeing in Delhi, visiting places like India Gate, Jama Masjid, and Red Fort. - In the evening, we will drive to Agra (usually 3-4 hours) for an overnight stay.

- Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal to capture the breathtaking view at sunrise. - After breakfast, visit the historic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. - If time permits, visit other local attractions like the Baby Taj and the Mehtab Bagh, a garden complex with beautiful views of the Taj Mahal. - After the sightseeing, return to Delhi for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Delhi Sightseeing - Journey to Nainital

Return to Delhi
