Puri
Puri is a city and a Municipality in the state of Odisha in eastern India. It is the district headquarters of Puri district and is situated on the Bay of Bengal, 60 kilometres south of the state capital of Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar is an ancient city in India’s eastern state of Odisha, formerly Orissa. Many temples built from sandstone are dotted around Bindu Sagar Lake in the old city, including the 11th-century Hindu Lingaraja Temple. Outside Rajarani Temple are sculpted figures of the guardians of the 8 cardinal and ordinal directions. Jain antiques, weaponry and indigenous pattachitra paintings fill the Odisha State Museum.
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar airport / railway station, you will be transferred to coastal town of Puri. On the way, visit Dhauli (Peace Pagoda and Ashokan Edict), Pipli (a small village famous for its appliqué handicrafts), Konark Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga beach. In evening, reach Puri. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Puri.
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the much famous Jagannath temple in Puri. Later on, visit Loknath temple, Gundicha temple and Grand Road. Further, you will be visiting Chilika Lake at Satpada. Enjoy boating in the lake to view dolphins and sea mouth. Return back to the hotel in Puri. Overnight stay will be in Puri.
After Breakfast Check out fro Hotel and Transfer to Bhubaneswar.On the way, visit visiting Raghurajpur / Nayakpatna / Dandasahi painting village and Sakhigopal temple. After reaching Bhubaneswar, check in to the hotel. After some rest, visit the much famous Khandagiri - Udayagiri caves. In evening, spend some time Ekamra Haat. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
