Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok. Visit To Nathula Pass (14450ft): The road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is richly surrounded by alpine Cora. On a clear day you can even see the road winding down the Chumbi valley. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire. Nathula is open for Indian nationals on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays. (Rs.5500 /- Vehicle Extra to Visit Nathula Pass). (If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided).

At Sohra, stop at the Duwan Sing Syiem view point for mesmerizing views of the Hills. In Cherrapunjee visit the gorgeous Seven Sisters (Nohsngithiang) Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia also known as ‘God’s own Garden’. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambiance of walking in a well maintained park a trek to the nearby Rewai Village is another interesting activity. Walk down a Dight of 200 steps to witness nature’s wonder, living-root bridge. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which the local people inter-twine to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. Later drive to Dawki, a village of the Jaintia community whose prime occupation of 7shing. Be mesmerized by the beauty of the Umngot River, famous for its crystal clear water, so clear that when seen from a distance, it appears as if the boat is Doating in mid-air!
