Overview

Gwalior is a city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It's known for its palaces and temples, including the Sas Bahu Ka Mandir intricately carved Hindu temple. Ancient Gwalior Fort occupies a sandstone plateau overlooking the city and is accessed via a winding road lined with sacred Jain statues. Within the fort’s high walls is the 15th-century Gujari Mahal Palace, now an archaeological museum.

The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a group of Hindu temples and Jain temples in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh, India, about 175 kilometres southeast of Jhansi. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temples are famous for their nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures.

Orchha is a town in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. The town was established by Rudra Pratap Singh some time after 1501, as the seat of an eponymous former princely state of central India, in the Bundelkhand region.

Upon arrival at the Gwalior airport/ railway station, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and freshen up.Later you can get on with the sightseeing of the attractions in Gwalior. Visit the Jai Vilas Palace, Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal, The fort, Temples of Sas-Bahu, Teli Ka Mandir, Tomb of Ghaus Mohammad and the Mausoleum of Tansen.After the tour return to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, you will proceed towards Khajuraho. On the way visit Rani Laxmibai fort at Jhansi.On reaching Khajuraho check in to the hotel and in the evening you can enjoy the light and sound show at the Temple Complex. This is a highly invigorating and informative show which will tell you all about the historical facts and significance of the Khajuraho Temple Complex.You can also indulge in some spectacular night time photography which comes out great because of the lighting effects.After the show return to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, you will be spending the day exploring the magnificent Khajuraho temple complex. This complex is divided into two parts; the Eastern and Western part. The Western part is more famous and includes the Kandariya Mahadev, Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath Temple and Lakshmana Temple while the Eastern temples include Vamana Temple, Javari Temple.After this tour, you will be driven to the Panna National Park.On reaching the Park enjoy an evening safari here and go wildlife spotting.After the safari, you will be driven back to Khajuraho for the night.

Day 4

Khajuraho to Orchha
