Overview

Ujjain is an ancient city beside the Kshipra River in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. An important Hindu pilgrimage destination, it’s known for the centuries-old Mahakaleshwar Temple, a towering structure with a distinctively ornate roof. Nearby, Bade Ganesh Temple houses a colorful statue of Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu deity. Harsiddhi Temple features a pair of tall dark pillars studded with lamps.

Arrive at Ujjain Railway Station / Airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. After refreshment, start temple sightseeing including Bada Ganesh Mandir, Harsiddhi Mata Temple, Ram Ghat, and Sandipani Ashram. Later visit Kal Bhairav Temple and Mangalnath Temple. In the evening enjoy free time at local markets. Overnight stay in Ujjain.

Early morning proceed for Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Bhasma Aarti (subject to availability and prior booking). After darshan, return to hotel for breakfast. Later visit Chintaman Ganesh, ISCKON Temple, and Jantar Mantar (Vedh Shala). Evening enjoy spiritual atmosphere at Ram Ghat side. Overnight stay in Ujjain.
