It is considered as the land of forests, rivers and great waterfalls. Upon arrival Athirapally, check into the hotel. The rest of the evening is free to explore the sights and sounds of Athirapally. Post breakfast, drive to Munnar, which is about 130 km away(Approx.). Munnar is a hill station in Kerala, known for its tea plantations and exotic flora and fauna. On the way you can also watch the lovely Cheeyappara waterfalls and Valara waterfalls. Also you can watch Spice Garden. Check into your hotel on arrival. Evening is free on your own. Overnight stay at Munnar.
After breakfast, visit the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the Nilgiri Tahr (Rare mountain goats).Then visit the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point, Blossom park and Tea museum. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Post breakfast, drive to Thekkady from Munnar, which is about 98 km (Approx.). Check into your hotel and relax. Thekkady is a wildlife destination in Kerala, known for its Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Then visit the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve (Tickets cost extra) where you can enjoy boating on the Periyar Lake, Elephant ride, Jeep safari etc. (at your own cost). Later you return to the hotel. Stay overnight at Thekkady.
After an early breakfast, drive to Kovalam, which is about 160 km away (Approx.). Kovalam is a beach town in Kerala, known for its crescent-shaped beaches, lighthouse, backwaters and temples. On arrival, visit Padmanabhaswamy temple. In the evening, visit Hawah beach, Lighthouse beach and other beaches at Kovalam. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari, which is about 90 km away from Kovalam. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a monument dedicated to Swami Vivekananda who meditated here in 1892. You can also visit the Thiruvalluvar Statue, a statue of a Tamil poet and philosopher who wrote Thirukkural. In the afternoon, visit the Kanyakumari Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Kanyakumari who is believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at TriveniSangam, a confluence of three seas - Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean. Drive back to Kovalam. Later return to hotel. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Kumarakom. On the way, visit Jatayu Earth Centre. On arrival, check in to hotel. Stay overnight at Kumarakom.
After breakfast, visit to Marari Beach. Later, return to hotel. Stay overnight at Kumarakom.
After breakfast, check out from hotel & take transfer to Cochin Airport for onward journey.
