Overview
Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu.
Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats.

Welcome to Jammu, the winter capital of Indian State Jammu and Kashmir. Arrive at Jammu airport and proceed to Katra, the base point of Vaishnodevi. Arrive at Katra and check into your hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight at Katra.

Today early morning begin your journey by foot to Vaishnodevi Temple, a trek of total 28 kms. Later return to your hotel in Katra. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Katra.
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer you to Srinagar ~pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir famous for its lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens consists of mainly of three gardens -Chashme shahi garden -Nishat Garden -Shalimar Garden .Shankaracharya Temple Takht-e-Suleiman hill, the Shankaracharya Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is supposed to be the oldest shrine of the Kashmir valley, Hazratbal Shrine- Situated opposite the Nishat Bagh on the banks of Dal Lake,Parimahal. In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with, which is often compared to Venice. You will get view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.
Today you will be forwarded to Gulmarg by car called as “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. Gulmarg also referred as Meadow of Flowers is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time.In Aftetnoon proceed towards the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Stay overnight hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast leave for Sonamarg situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.Dinner & overnight stay Hotel.
