Overview

Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Delhi, India’s capital territory, is a massive metropolitan area in the country’s north. In Old Delhi, a neighborhood dating to the 1600s, stands the imposing Mughal-era Red Fort, a symbol of India, and the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard accommodates 25,000 people. Nearby is Chandni Chowk, a vibrant bazaar filled with food carts, sweets shops and spice stalls.

Arrive at Delhi Airport, and meet our representative and go for Shimla City the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. A very popular holiday-retreat, it is well-known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon. Enroute to Pinjor Garden. Upon arrival at Shimla, check in at the hotel. Enjoy Leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion to Kufri (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). In case, a Monday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to Naldhera Golf course instead of Kufri. Afternoon: Guests will be dropped at the Shimla Mall road to explore by themselves. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping. Evening, the guests shall be transferred to their respective hotels for overnight stay. Dinner shall be at the hotel. Note: Pony ride/ Golf kit charges at Kufri/Naldhera are on direct payment basis.

Day 3

Shimla – Manali (272 Kms |9 to 10 hrs Approx)

After breakfast at hotel, depart for Manali. Drive past Beas-Sutlej Link project, Pandoh Dam & Kullu Valley. Lunch shall be en-route on direct payment basis.Check in to your hotel on arrival for an overnight stay.

Today full day excursion visiting Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall). Later in evening Walk through town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery. Hadimba Devi temple-It is small temple situated in the dense forest is very interesting. Hadimba is said to be the wife of Bhima from the epic of Mahabharata. Vashisht, it is an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashisht hot baths where a natural sulphar spring is piped into a modern bath -house. Dinner and overnight.

Early morning take a half day excursion to Snow Point on the way to Rohtang (If weather permits) (Closed on Tuesday) On Direct Payment Basis. On return, visit Solang Valley. You can opt for adventure sports like Paragliding, Zorbing, and Skiing (subject to snow) on direct payment basis. Rohtang Pass: It is 51 Kms | 2hrs from Manali. It is not accessible for almost eight months in a year as it is covered by snow. Guests are generally are taken to the snow point on Rohtang Road, permitted by Border Security Force. In case a Tuesday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to the snow point on some other day as we have three nights in Manali.

Morning after breakfast Visit local places or go for shopping to local market if pending later proceed to Delhi. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Delhi – Agra - Delhi

After breakfast checkout from and go for fullday excursion to Agra. Visit Taj Mahal , Agra Fort , Akbar Tomb etc.. Later in evening drive back to Delhi. Stay Overnight at hotel.
