Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills. Once the summer capital of British India, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Kalka-Shimla Railway, completed in 1903. It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market specializing in wooden toys and crafts.
Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.
Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. His buildings include the Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, as well as the giant Open Hand Monument. The nearby Rock Garden is a park featuring sculptures made of stones, recycled ceramics and industrial relics.

Arrive at New Delhi Airport / Railway Station drive to Shimla, the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. A very popular holiday-retreat, it is well-known for its Victorian architecture, which is reflected in certain areas of the Mall and The Ridge. It is also a famous holiday spot for honeymoon. Enroute to Pinjor Garden. Upon arrival at Shimla, check in at the hotel. Enjoy Leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion to Kufri (2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (closed on Monday). Incase, a Monday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to Naldhera Golf course instead of Kufri. Afternoon: Guests will be dropped at the Shimla Mall road to explore by themselves. Attractions of the mall road include Shimla Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theatre, Town hall & shopping. Evening, the guests shall be transferred to their respective hotels for overnight stay. Dinner shall be at the hotel. Note: Pony ride/ Golf kit charges at Kufri/Naldhera are on direct payment basis.
After breakfast at hotel, depart for Manali. Drive past Beas-Sutlej Link project, Pandoh Dam & Kullu Valley. Lunch shall be en-route on direct payment basis. Check in to your hotel on arrival for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Manali. Visit Vashishtha Kund, Hidimba Temple, Tibetan Monasteries and Club House.Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.
Early morning take a half day excursion to Snow Point on the way to Rohtang. (Closed on Tuesday) On Direct Payment Basis. On return, visit Solang Valley. You can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing, and Skiing (subject to snow) on direct payment basis. Rohtang Pass: It is 51 Kms | 2hrs from Manali. It is not accessible for almost eight months in a year as it is covered by snow. Guests are generally are taken to the snow point on Rohtang Road, permitted by Border Security Force. In case a Tuesday falls on this day, guests shall be taken to the snow point on some other day as we have three nights in Manali. Solang Valley: It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley, 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sport conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. Note: All the adventure sports at Solang Valley/ Snow Suits at Snow point are on direct payment basis Both snow point at & Solang Valley will be covered on the very same day & the visit is subject to weather conditions.
Morning after breakfast proceed to Chandigarh. On Arrival check into hotel. & Overnight stay at hotel.
After Breakfast checkout from hotel and Visit local places of Chandigarh like Rose Garden , Rock Garden , Sukhna Lake etc.. Later in evening drive to Delhi for back home journey.

Getting there from Ahmedabad
Fly Ahmedabad–Delhi non-stop in about 1.5 hours; services run through the day. From Delhi the private car takes about 8 hours to Shimla with lunch stops. A shorter option is flying Ahmedabad–Chandigarh, which has one-stop connections, cutting the first drive to 3.5 hours and reversing the loop. On the return, Chandigarh to Delhi is about 5 hours, and we time the drop for an evening flight home, or you can fly straight out of Chandigarh.
Good to know before you book
- Best months: March to June for pleasant weather and the Rohtang road usually open from May; December to February for snow in Manali, when the Atal Tunnel gives access to Sissu. Monsoon (July–August) has landslide risk.
- Food: Shimla and Manali Mall Roads have Gujarati and Jain restaurants; the hotels serve vegetarian dinners and accept Jain requests in advance.
- Who it suits: honeymoon and anniversary couples; the same route runs in 3★ hotels for families on a tighter budget.

Is Rohtang Pass included?

When is there snow in Manali?
Usually late December to February in Manali town and Solang; snow at higher points lasts into April. Summer visitors see snow at Rohtang when the pass opens around May.
Is Jain food available in Shimla and Manali?
Yes. Both Mall Roads have Gujarati and Jain restaurants, and the hotels prepare Jain dinners on request if told at booking.
Can we fly into Chandigarh instead of Delhi?
Yes. Chandigarh has one-stop flights from Ahmedabad and cuts the first drive to 3.5 hours. We reverse the loop so you still get all six nights.
