Bali Honeymoon Package From Ahmedabad: Cost For A Couple
By Vibrant Holidays Team · Published 26 October 2026
Bali is the honeymoon most Gujarati couples ask us about first, and for good reason: it is one of the few international destinations where a 5-night trip with flights, a private pool villa for part of the stay, and curated couple experiences can still be planned for well under ₹2 lakh per couple. This guide breaks down what a Bali honeymoon package from Ahmedabad actually costs in 2026–27, how to get there from SVPI Airport, visa and entry fees, the best months to go, how to eat pure veg or Jain without stress, and a day-wise plan we use for couples.
Bali honeymoon cost from Ahmedabad: quick summary
For a 5-night / 6-day honeymoon departing Ahmedabad, this is what couples typically spend in total (both people, flights included). All figures are indicative, depend on travel dates and booking lead time, and change with airfares and the rupee–rupiah rate.
- Budget honeymoon: from ₹1,10,000 to ₹1,40,000 per couple* – 3-star or boutique hotel in Kuta/Legian or Ubud, shared transfers, group day tours, economy flights with one stop.
- Mid-range honeymoon: ₹1,50,000 to ₹2,20,000 per couple* – a 4-star resort in Seminyak plus 2 nights in a private pool villa in Ubud, private car with driver, Nusa Penida speedboat trip, couple spa and a candlelight dinner.
- Luxury honeymoon: ₹2,50,000+ per couple* – 5-star cliff-top resort in Uluwatu or Nusa Dua, private pool villa throughout, floating breakfast, helicopter or private yacht add-ons, business-class upgrades.
*Indicative, varies by date. Peak dates (Diwali week, 20 December–5 January, and May school holidays) usually cost 20–35% more than the ranges above.
Flights from Ahmedabad to Bali: what to expect
There is no non-stop flight from Ahmedabad to Denpasar (DPS). Every option is one-stop, and the connection city decides your price and total travel time:
- Via Singapore (Singapore Airlines / Scoot): the most comfortable routing, around 11–13 hours door to door including the layover. Ahmedabad–Singapore flights are overnight, so you land in Bali by afternoon.
- Via Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia Airlines / AirAsia): often the cheapest on sale fares, 12–15 hours total depending on the layover.
- Via Ho Chi Minh City (VietJet): a newer budget option launched on the Ahmedabad route; when we checked January 2027 dates, return fares for two adults were showing from roughly ₹95,000 (about ₹47,500 per person) without checked baggage – add ₹3,000–6,000 per person for bags.
- Via Mumbai or Delhi (IndiGo, Air India): useful if you want an Indian carrier end-to-end, but the domestic hop adds time and the fare is rarely lower.
Rule of thumb: budget ₹40,000–55,000 per person return if you book 60–90 days ahead for a non-peak month, and ₹55,000–75,000 per person for Diwali or New Year. Checking Thursday–Sunday departures against mid-week ones can save ₹5,000–8,000 per ticket on this route.
Bali visa for Indians: visa on arrival, e-VoA and the tourist levy
Indian passport holders get a Visa on Arrival (VoA) for Indonesia. As of 2026 the fee is IDR 500,000 per person (roughly ₹2,600), valid for a 30-day stay and extendable once for another 30 days. You can pay at the airport counters in Denpasar, or – our strong recommendation for honeymooners – apply online for the e-VoA at evisa.imigrasi.go.id at least 48 hours before departure, so you skip the visa queue after a long overnight flight and walk straight to immigration.
Two more things Ahmedabad travellers often miss:
- Bali tourist levy: IDR 150,000 (about ₹800) per person, paid online via the official Love Bali portal before arrival or at the airport. It is separate from the visa fee.
- Passport validity: your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date you land. Newly married couples whose surname has changed should travel on the passport whose name matches the air ticket exactly.
Immigration can also ask for a return ticket and hotel confirmation, so keep printouts handy. Vibrant Holidays helps with the e-VoA application and the levy as part of our visa assistance service, but approval is always at the discretion of Indonesian immigration.
Best time to visit Bali for a honeymoon
Bali is warm all year (27–31°C), so the real question is rain, crowds and price.
- April to June: dry, green after the monsoon, fewer crowds and good hotel rates. Our top pick for couples marrying in the Gujarati winter wedding season who want to travel a few months later.
- July and August: driest and sunniest, but peak European holiday season – villas book out and prices climb.
- September and October: still dry, warm seas, crowds thinning, honeymoon offers return. Excellent value.
- November to March: wet season – usually short, heavy afternoon showers rather than all-day rain. This covers Diwali and Christmas–New Year, which are still popular from Ahmedabad; just plan beach days for mornings and keep Ubud, spa and café time for afternoons.
One date to avoid: Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, which falls in March. The whole island shuts for 24 hours – airport, shops, beaches, even hotel pools in many resorts – so do not plan to arrive, leave or sightsee on that day.
Pure veg and Jain food in Bali
This is the first question many Gujarati families ask us, and Bali is easier than most Southeast Asian destinations. Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua and Ubud all have Indian restaurants, several of them run by Indian families, where pure veg thali, dal, roti and even Jain preparations (no onion, no garlic, no root vegetables) are available if you request a day ahead. Most 4- and 5-star resorts will add an Indian vegetarian option to breakfast if your travel agent informs them in advance – we do this on every booking.
For local food, Balinese cuisine has plenty of naturally vegetarian dishes: gado-gado (steamed vegetables with peanut sauce), tempeh and tahu (tofu) dishes, nasi goreng sayur (vegetable fried rice) and tropical fruit platters. Always say "no egg, no terasi" – terasi is a fermented shrimp paste used in many sauces. Carry a pack of thepla, khakhra and ready-to-eat dal for the first evening or a long day-trip to Nusa Penida.
5-night Bali honeymoon itinerary from Ahmedabad
This is the plan we most often customise for couples; swap the order based on your flight timings.
- Day 1 – Arrive Denpasar, Seminyak: overnight flight from Ahmedabad, land by afternoon, private transfer to a Seminyak resort. Sunset at the beach clubs on Petitenget beach, easy dinner nearby.
- Day 2 – Uluwatu and Jimbaran: late start, then Uluwatu temple on the cliffs, the Kecak fire dance at sunset, and a beach-side dinner at Jimbaran (vegetarian grills and rice are available on request).
- Day 3 – Move to Ubud: Tegalalang rice terraces early (before 9 am to beat the crowds), the Bali swing for photos, Tirta Empul holy springs, and check in to a private pool villa in the Ubud greenery.
- Day 4 – Nusa Penida day trip: speedboat from Sanur, Kelingking cliff viewpoint, Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong, snorkelling with manta rays if the season allows. Long day, but the highlight for most couples.
- Day 5 – Tanah Lot and couple spa: a slow morning, then a Balinese couple massage, Tanah Lot sea temple at sunset, and a private candlelight dinner at the villa.
- Day 6 – Fly home: depending on your return timing, a last breakfast by the pool and transfer to the airport for the flight back to Ahmedabad.
What is included in a Vibrant Holidays Bali honeymoon package
Our Bali tour packages from Ahmedabad for couples typically include return airfare from Ahmedabad, 5 nights' accommodation with breakfast (resort plus pool villa combination), private air-conditioned car with an English-speaking driver for sightseeing days, the Nusa Penida speedboat trip, honeymoon inclusions such as room decoration, a couple spa session and one candlelight dinner, and airport transfers both ways. Visa fees, the tourist levy, travel insurance, meals other than breakfast and personal expenses are usually extra and we list them clearly in every quote.
Two add-ons we recommend to every couple: travel insurance (medical cover matters when you are scootering around Ubud or snorkelling at Nusa Penida) and carrying some Indonesian rupiah or a forex card from our forex desk on C G Road, because small warungs, temple entry and parking are cash-only. You can also compare Bali with other short-haul options on our honeymoon packages page – Maldives for pure beach luxury, Thailand for a lower budget, Vietnam for something new.
Money-saving tips for Ahmedabad couples
- Book flights 60–90 days ahead; Bali fares from Ahmedabad are most volatile in the last three weeks.
- Split the stay: 3 nights beach (Seminyak or Nusa Dua) + 2 nights Ubud pool villa gives you the best photos and the lowest total cost compared with 5 nights in one luxury resort.
- Travel in late April–June or September–October for honeymoon offers and dry weather.
- Rupee to rupiah: ₹1 is roughly IDR 190 (rates change daily), so a IDR 100,000 note is about ₹525 – useful for tipping and temple entries.
- Tell your agent about dietary needs at booking time; Jain meals in Bali are easy with notice and hard on the spot.
