Overview

Cappadocia, a semi-arid region in central Turkey, is known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Monks Valley, Göreme and elsewhere. Other notables sites include Bronze Age homes carved into valley walls by troglodytes (cave dwellers) and later used as refuges by early Christians. The 100m-deep Ihlara Canyon houses numerous rock-face churches.

Kusadasi is a beach resort town on Turkey’s western Aegean coast. A jumping-off point for visiting the classical ruins at nearby Ephesus (or Efes), it’s also a major cruise ship destination. Its seafront promenade, marina, and harbor are lined with hotels and restaurants. Just offshore on Pigeon Island is a walled Byzantine castle that once guarded the town, connected to the mainland via causeway.

Istanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. Its Old City reflects cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled here. In the Sultanahmet district, the open-air, Roman era Hippodrome was for centuries the site of chariot races, and Egyptian obelisks also remain. The iconic Byzantine Hagia Sophia features a soaring 6th-century dome and rare Christian mosaics.

After arriving at the Istanbul Ataturk airport early in the morning, board the connecting flight to Kayseri. On arrival, you will be greeted by our agent’s representative who will assist you in transfer to your hotel in Cappadocia. After checking in to your hotel, relax for a while. Explore the Underground City and Ihlara Valley on a full day tour. Come back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2

After Breakfast Check out from Hotel and Transfer to Denizli. Visit the popular tourist attractions including Roman Baths, the Temple of Apollo and the Nymphaeum, and the Pamukkale(Cotton Castle) to view the stunning white travertine cliffs. This will be followed by an amazing tour of the Hierapolis. After this tiring day, get transferred to Kusadasi and check into your hotel for the night.

Considered the cultural centres of the ancient world, both these towns are blessed with architectural wonders one should not miss. Begin the tour by visiting the Library of Celsus followed by a visit to the Temple of Hadrian. Visit the magnificent Theatre and the Odeon afterward. After this amazing tour, you will be transferred to the airport. Board a connecting flight to Istanbul. Overnight stay at Istanbul.
