Overview

Nainital is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s Uttarakhand state, at an elevation of roughly 2,000m. Formerly a British hill station, it’s set around Nainital Lake, a popular boating site with Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north shore.

Kausani is a hill station and Village situated in Bageshwar district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is famous for its scenic splendour and its spectacular 300 km-wide panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli.

Auli is a Himalayan ski resort and hill station in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. It’s surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, plus the Nanda Devi and Nar Parvat mountains. A long cable car links Auli to the town of Joshimath. North of Auli are the colorful Badrinath Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site, and the Valley of Flowers National Park, with its alpine flora and wildlife like snow leopards and red foxes.

Chopta is a small region of meadows and evergreen forest area, a part of Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary located in Uttarakhand state, India and a base for trekking to Tungnath, the third temple of Panch Kedar which lies 3.5 kilometres away.

Day 1

In the morning meet our representative at Delhi airport & directly transfer to Nainital. On arrival check in to the hotel, freshen up and then proceed for local sightseeing tour. Beginning with boating on the famous Nainital Lake-Naini Lake (at your own cost) and visit to the holy Naina Devi Temple. Thereafter, visit famous tourist spots like Tifin Top, Naina Peak, Cave Garden, Bara Pathar, etc (sightseeing will be covered as per time permitting). In the evening, enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel at Nainital.

Nainital - Lake Tour

After having your breakfast, now drive for lake tour of Nainital. Nainital is the main tourist attraction and here Naini Lake is famous for boating (Half an hour ride), Bhimtal is about 25 kilometers from Nainital. It is the largest lake among Nainital Lake Tour. Sattal (seven lakes) is about 25 kilometers from Nainital. As name suggests is a group of seven lakes interconnected. Naukuchiatal is about 30 kilometers from Nainital. It is 9 cornered lakes. Later in the evening, drive back to hotel, have your Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast depart to Kausani. Afternoon will visit Baijnath temple. Here you will see many ancient idols and will also come across Maharshi ;shh in the river waters. At the end of your visit, take your time to look at the setting sun and ;Nally the sunset. Also visit Anashakti Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi stayed for few days. It will be a memorable evening. Have dinner and rest for the night at Kausani.

In the morning after having your breakfast, proceed to transfer to Joshimath. On the way, halt at Karnprayag (the conAuence of Rivers Alaknanda and Pindar). As you reach Joshimath, here you can visit famous temples – Narsingh Temple and Adi Sankaracharya Math. Then later proceed to your hotel stay at Auli. On arrival, check in at the Hotel. If time and energy permits, you can explore the paranomic.

Auli has made its name globally as one of the bestskiing points in India as well as the world. Take the 3.9 km cable car ride at your own cost. Named as longest cable car ride in Asia. Get ready to partake in skiing at Auli as well as other thrilling activities. All the required skiing equipment will be made available to you. If you are a beginner, you are going to get full assistance to learn the sport. There are options of a 500 m long ski-lift and an 800 m long chairlift. Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and now proceed your journey Chopta. Chopta is located in Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand offers majestic views of Himalayas and Meadows.
