Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. It is located 42 km from the city of Jammu.
Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats.
Sonmarg is a hill station in Ganderbal district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir about 80 km north-east of Srinagar.

( By Helicopter)For darshan, you'll be driven to Ban Ganga, which is the starting point of the 12.5 kms long yatra (journey) to Vaishno Devi. (depending on your preferences) can range from 7 hours to more than 20 hours. Once you return back to Ban Ganga, you’ll be driven to your hotel. Have a comfortable overnight stay at you hotel.
