Overview

Dwarka is an ancient city in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna.

Prabhas Patan, also known as Somnath Patan or Prabhas Ksheta, historically named Dev Patan, is a town situated near Veraval, Gir Somnath district in Saurashtra region of Gujarat, India. It is located about 7 km. from Veraval.

Itinerary

Day 1

Rajkot – Dwarka (Approx. 225 km | 4.5–5 hrs)

Morning pickup from Rajkot and drive to Dwarka. On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax after the journey. Evening free for leisure or local market visit near the temple area.

Day 2

Dwarka Sightseeing – Somnath (Via Porbandar) (Approx. 235 km | 6–7 hrs)

Early morning visit for darshan at Dwarkadhish Temple. Later, proceed for Dwarka local sightseeing covering Gomti Ghat, Rukmini Devi Temple, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Bet Dwarka . After completing sightseeing, check out and drive towards Somnath. En route, visit Porbandar including Kirti Mandir (time permitting). On arrival at Somnath, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit Somnath Temple and attend the Light & Sound Show.

Day 3

Somnath – Diu – Gir (Approx. 140 km | 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Diu. Visit Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Church and Nagoa Beach. Later, continue your journey to Gir National Park. On arrival, check in to the resort and relax.
