Overview

Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons.

Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Sasan Gir, is a forest, national park, and wildlife sanctuary near Talala Gir in Gujarat, India.

Somnath, Gujarat is a seaside city 6 kilometres south of Veraval and 407 kilometres northwest of Ahmedabad. The city's primary attraction is the Somnath Temple, a renowned pilgrimage destination and home to one of the Hindu Lord Shiva's 12 Jyotirlingas.

Dwarka is an ancient city in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna.

Rajkot is a city in the western Indian state of Gujarat. In central Jubilee Garden is the Lang Library, with Gujarati literature. The Rotary Dolls Museum exhibits dolls from around the world.

Ahmedabad, in western India, is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The Sabarmati River runs through its center.
