Dwarka
Dwarka is an ancient city in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. It’s known as a Hindu pilgrimage site. The ancient Dwarkadhish Temple has an elaborately tiered main shrine, a carved entrance and a black-marble idol of Lord Krishna. Dwarka Beach and nearby Dwarka Lighthouse offer views of the Arabian Sea. Southeast, Gaga Wildlife Sanctuary protects migratory birds and endangered species like the Indian wolf.
The Somnath temple located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat, is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is an important pilgrimage and tourist spot of Gujarat.
Diu is a coastal town at the eastern end of Diu Island, India. A bridge connects the island to the state of Gujarat. Overlooking the Arabian Sea, Diu Fort, a 16th-century Portuguese citadel, features a lighthouse and cannons. Inland, centuries-old St. Paul’s Church was built in elaborate baroque style. Nearby, whitewashed St. Thomas Church is now home to the Diu Museum, with wooden carvings and religious artifacts.
Ahmedabad, in western India, is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The Sabarmati River runs through its center. On the western bank is the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which displays the spiritual leader’s living quarters and artifacts. Across the river, the Calico Museum of Textiles, once a cloth merchant's mansion, has a significant collection of antique and modern fabrics.
On arrival at Ahmedabad our representative welcome you and transfer to Dwarka. En-route, visit the Lakhota Lake and the Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary in Jamnagar. Later, drive towards Dwarka and then check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Eat a hearty breakfast and then drive towards Bet Dwarka which is around 25 km from Dwarka. You shall visit Bet Dwarka Mandir by a boat jetty. Later, also visit the Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi Talav and Rukmini Temple. Post the sojourn, return to Dwarka. In the evening, visit Naganath Mandir and the Dwarkadhish Temple for the evening aarti. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
After Breakfast drive to Somnath through Porbandar. On the way, visit the Sudama Temple and the Kirti Mandir In Porbandar. When you reach Somnath, check-in at the hotel and then head out to see the Somnath Temple which is built on the shore of the Arabian Sea and known famous for its 12 different Jyotirlingas. Also, attend the peaceful evening aarti. Overnight stay in Somnath.
Enjoy in the morning today, wake up to attend the aarti at Somnath Temple. Return for breakfast later, get ready and then venture out to see the Bhalka Tirth and the Triveni Ghat along with the Gita Mandir. Afterwards, drive to Diu. Upon arrival, check out the Diu Fort, Jalandhar, INS Kukri, St. Pauls Church. Post sightseeing, unwind and relax at the Nagoa Beach. You can also see the Ghoghla Beach. Do not miss the Naida Caves that feature the unique rock formations. Overnight stay in Diu.
After a lip-smacking breakfast, drive to Gir. Get exhilarated with the wild safari at the Gir National Park, and then later drive to Ahmedabad. If you wish, you can catch a movie at Asia's biggest open theatre in Ahmedabad. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Eat a sumptuous breakfast and then drive to see the tall and mighty - Statue of Unity. When here, also see the Sardar Sarovar Dam, coupled with the Selfie Point. Head back to Ahmedabad for an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, head out to see the Gandhi Ashram, Hatheesingh Jain Temple and the Sardar Patel Museum. In the evening, visit the riverfront and enjoy shopping at the 7th Heaven. Else, you have a choice of visiting the Kankaria Lake where you can experience the view resembling the Mumbai's Choppati. In the evening, get dropped at the airport from where you return home.
